It is perfectly placed a quick 120 miles from the Bay Area, a scenic 330 miles from Los Angeles. It's long been a favorite getaway for us around the holidays. We'll talk secret alley coffee spots, overrated pizza places, and fairytale wineries.

It is a close-knit community with just over 1,000 year round residents and with a rich history. The town survived the War of 1812 and became known as "The Town That Fooled the British" by avoiding destruction via cannon through proactive measures.
