So we dialed it back and compared Naruto characters from the timeframe of when Shippuden started. Welcome to the 161st episode of the Shonen Tapes Podcast! It is the dawn of a new era. Kevin and Sean kick of the new era by talking about some of the new shows they previewed. But first they discuss  the winner of Shonen Tapes Madness 2022 bracket… it was Attack on Titan. The guys were definitely pleased with the winner. So next weeks episode will be devoted to the AOT’s Season 4 Part 2. Then they get into the meat of the episode when they talk about Spy  Family, Ranking of Kings and Link Click. In which they watched the first two episodes of and talk about which ones they liked the best and which ones they didn’t like. All good things must come to an end!

Like Kevin and Sean said on the previous anime podcast they will be discontinuing the Hip Hop portion of the podcast. Which means after today's episode they will be an anime only podcast. Of course they will mention hip hop here and there on the podcast because they absolutely LOVE hip hop music.  But Kevin and Sean want to focus more on growing the podcast and in doing that they want to have more of a niche and the Tapeworms seem to be consuming the anime episodes at higher rate then the hip hop episodes. But the guys didn't want to leave you all hanging on this last hip hop episode. They thought the only appropriate way to end this portion of the podcast was to bring in the guys they started this podcast journey with, BG and Aymen! This was a great episode with the guys talking about some of their hot takes when it comes to hip hop and some gripes they had about past episodes.  Kevin and Sean were definitely grateful having BG and Aymen back on the show. This is a BIG episode that you will not want to miss! The best way to move on to the future is first acknowledging the past.
