Self Sabotage 

We all have blind spots in our lives.   Today, I wanted to share how coaching can help hold up a mirror for our minds so that we can see the blind spots. In order to do that I decided to share my own of my own coaching sessions with you.   In this episode, you'll hear me get coached on the feelings of panic and anxiety I've been feeling in the absence of my husband. Towards the end, you'll also discover the real emotion that I was trying so hard to avoid.   Sharing this with you feels incredibly vulnerable. I think that some people are going to judge, leave negative comments and unsubscribe. I decided to do it anyway because I would rather you know the truth about who I am, and the things I struggle with than let you believe I've got it all figured out.   I don't.   I'm reliant on Jesus. In the life code the action might be the same, Saying, if you do X I will do Y… But if that statement is being fueled by fear… it’s probably being used to control or manipulate the other person into doing what you want. How do you trust your husband when you're not together?   In today's episode, I want to share with you how we made the very difficult decision to spend such a significant amount of time on opposite sides of the world.  I'll share with you HOW I avoid getting such down the negative vortex of worst-case scenarios, and more importantly, I'll explain WHY I choose to trust him.  While I'm definitely doing something that is way outside my comfort zone, it doesn't mean that I'm making myself miserable. In fact, the insights and mindset shifts I'm about to share with you will help you embrace your God-given desires no matter how scary the circumstances might seem.   I can't say I know what it's like to experience the anguish of being cheated on firsthand, but I can assure you that I have gone there in my mind and I know it's an extremely unpleasant place to be. How do I trust him?

For me, it means; experiencing as much growth as possible, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, and embracing all the discomfort and growing pains along the way. In this episode, we are going to explore the topic of letting go of the thoughts that we think sound nice, like "I'm a naturally happy and optimistic person" because they no longer serve you. It was my birthday this past Sunday, and I want to share with you my journey over the past 10 years of having a major u-turn, getting sober, and becoming a personal development junkie.   I've learned some important lessons, but I still struggle with some heavy stuff. It's important for you to know that in the midst of achieving your dreams you can still experience a nightmare of emotions that scare you so much you will want to run back home and hide under the covers.   That's why today we are going to talk about:  How to identify thoughts that don't serve you Why some affirmations don't work and what to do instead What my definition of my best year ever looks like Why Walmart is the epitome of my comfort zone And much more!
