I met Ryan when he was producing a charity event for Lost-N-Found Youth, an LGBTQIA organization in Atlanta with a focus on helping queer youth without housing to get them housed, providing essentials from health and hygiene items, clothing, and transit cards, job training, and more.  Ryan and his partner love Rupaul's Drag Race and that prompted Ryan to start an annual fundraiser through his production company Flying Banzai (https://www.flyingbanzai.com/) called Super Nova which was a mix of drag and stand-up comedy and they have raised over $12k for Lost-N-Found in the last year.   We talk all things str8 and more! Minori Hinds is a musical goofball forged in the mountains of Japan, southern California and western North Carolina. Minori mixes silly, smart, dark, and absurd sensibilities that delight audiences all over the country. Minori has shared the stage with Janeane Garofalo, who deemed them "almost too funny." Todd Barry called Minori "funny" in his book. Bobcat Goldthwait thanked them for not being terrible and gave permission to put this here. Minori has been a featured festival performer at various comedy festivals including Limestone, Cape Fear, Asheville and Red Clay. Justin McCollum is a professional kickboxer, fighting out of Atlanta Georgia who I met at a drag/comedy charity event, which is a very Atlanta way to meet.  He was volunteering and working the door and I was doing a set on the show but showed way too early and hung out by the door until it was my time and he laughed at all my jokes, so naturally he has to do the podcast.  Justin is a very sweet fella who could most definitely kick your butt a few times over.  We talk about how he identifies and why it doesn't matter because he is putting his fighting career over his romantic life, or his he?    If you are in Atlanta you can catch him fighting at District Atlanta on July 16th at 8 pm! After being named one of Just For Laughs' "New Faces of Comedy" he recorded his debut album/special "All Things Sacred" which was released this summer. He can currently be found touring the country in preparation of his next project. While back in Atlanta, he can be found regularly performing at The Laughing Skull Lounge or playing bass for "Square Pizza" a band comprised of fellow comedians. After a good set in Chattanooga, an Angry Karen took to facebook and described his comedy as "Depressing," "Judgmental," and "Not Funny!" Will is very proud of this and to this day, has the review as his phone background.

 Patrick Dalton was born and raised in different parts of Florida, so you could consider his comedy a melting pot. Being around so many diverse and unique individuals growing up has expanded his perspective and given him a unique view of the similarities and differences between people. With a tendency to be a little off the wall in ideology, but calm and cool in implementation, Patrick exploits the idea that "things have to be done a certain way", and exchanges it for doing things his way. Thought provoking and evocative, whilst still maintaining playfulness and hilarity, Patrick has an uncanny way of keeping balance.

Her journey from 11 years of private Christian school to stand-up comedy will make you absolutely as uncomfortable as reading that sentence just did. Her comedy can be described as sardonically sweet, and innocently dirty.  Currently based in Atlanta, GA , Madison has featured on multiple occasions for Iliza Shlesinger, and has shared the stage with Chris Tucker, Ms. Pat, Tiffany Haddish, and Tom Segura. She can be seen performing stand-up all over the Southeast.  In 2015, her one-act play "Adam The Temptress" was chosen for The Road Theatre's 6th Annual Summer Playwright's Festival in Los Angeles, and was featured as an official selection by the Los Angeles Female Playwright's initiative. Earlier that year, Madison's short film "The Jackpot" was selected as a finalist for Pepperdine University's Reel Stories Film Festival. She just really wants you to know she lived in LA for a long time, but please don't ask her anything more about it unless you want her to cry.

He's probably best known for his indie-pop solo project Seal Pup, which released its third album "I Bleed Pop" last year to humble yet noteworthy regional acclaim. He also makes rap music under the name Jacket and plays drums in local punk band SMALL. You can listen to Seal Pup and Jacket on all streaming platforms including Deezer.

 Being described by Atlanta’s Living In Town magazine as having “an undeniable likability,” Atlanta has enjoyed Ben Popkin’s friendly form of comedy for the past several years. Ben runs the You Look Like roast battle at the Laughing Skull Lounge where he is a regular. A lost episode - Matt Maher is straight but really wants to talk about it.  "I am originally from Ocala, Florida, I am the exact same age as the show “Miami Vice” I graduated from GSU in 2015 with a BFA in Sculpture, but if I’m being honest, my first art Teacher Mary Beth Waltz laid the foundations of what my practice is today. She gave me my first book on Picasso, as well as took me to my first gallery exhibition. There were no erasers in her classroom. The lesson behind that was to work with your instincts and work forward rather than backward to solve a problem. Ya know… like life! Apart from college I have studied theatre, improv, and writing at Relapse Theatre in Atlanta as well as performed and managed a band “Sneaky Hand”, for ten years. That pivotal time in my life taught me how to be resourceful, bold, and expressive. My masks evolved in that performance environment and I’ve stayed close to that source of inspiration. Since graduating I’ve shown in a huuuuuuuuge variety of spaces and events in Atlanta. I have had pieces in the Eyedrum, Midtown Players Club, and WhiteSpace gallery. I have staged performances at Blue mark studios, the Goat Farm, 368 Ponce de leon, Kibbee gallery and the Low Gallery. I’ve been featured artist at several sponsored corporate events for Scout Mob and the W Hotel. I have made masks for dance troupes and art parties. What you got? I’ll build a mask for it. The teenage mutant ninja turtle I most identify with is Raphael. All of my tattoos have stories. My dog’s name is Daisy and I love her dearly. I’m good with my hands. I’m honest to a fault. I wish I was taller and I’m sure everyone can tell. I prefer tea to coffee. I am no good at playing cards, and Macgyver is my Sufi. "

 Bob Place is an American stand up comedian, Show producer, writer, film maker, musician, and actor based out of Atlanta, Ga. Born into a military family; Bob grew up in Okinawa, Japan. From a young age, Bob’s artistic talents were encouraged by his parents. At age 15, he had a role in the 2000 film Road Trip. Bob’s works spread through a wide range of mediums. In 2017, Bob’s first feature film “American Dirtbags” was released. The film was awarded the Special Jury Award at the Alexandria Film Festival. Bob also performs stand up comedy and magic for live audiences, as well as producing and performing in various other shows.

He's performed at multiple comedy festivals around the country and can be seen regularly at the Laughing Skull Lounge and Star Bar in Atlanta.  Powell has been a part of NBCUniversal's Showcase for Diversity in TV Hosting and can be seen on Young Hollywood's award winning series, Food Feed. He co-hosts and co-produces a monthly pop culture show with WUSSY MAG, which performs to sold out audiences in Atlanta. His hobbies include overeating and going to karaoke too often.

Now an Atlanta-based comedian, actor and artist, he has big city dreams of being a jack of all disappoints to his parents! He’s queer and genderfluid, but you can still call use “he” pronouns because he’d rather avoid having to explain that to you.

When asked why she became a comic, she replies with the famous Shawshank Redemption quote, “Get busy living, or get busy dying.” Which (according to Patty) really means, “F*#* if I know.”
