According to SB Nation, Dan Sileo is considered the greatest Miami Hurricane ever from the New England area.Sileo is still considered the strongest player in U.M. program history as he bench pressed 535 pounds and squatted 700 pounds.Dan was drafted in the ‘87 NFL Supplemental Draft by Head Coach Ray Perkins and the Tampa Bay Bucs, joining fellow U.M. teammate and #1 draft pick Vinny Testaverde. By 1989 Dan would rejoin Head Coach Jimmy Johnson with the Dallas Cowboys and continue in the NFL and CFL until he retired in 1994.
