Instagram stories have been my favourite social media feature ever. I so all sorts via my stories: educate, entertain, engage, build relationships, sell, create conversations, make people feel seen and heard, create relatability. They have got so much potential!And yet, so many teachers don’t use them! Or use them just to repost their grid content. I think the problem comes down to people thinking that it’s enough to build a big following and then start selling your teaching services to them. And unfortunately, that’s not the case.The missing element between audience building and selling is NURTURING. And that’s what stories are great for (as well as selling!) You’ve made a decision to go solo, find your own students, and be independent and you soon realised that you should start being active on social media.
