Hi, Dax Shepard here. I’m fascinated by smart people with a unique point of view. On this show, I leverage people’s vague awareness of me as an actor to talk with a bunch of bona fide experts. It’s a soothing mix of brain candy and defensive humor (my response to feeling intellectually outclassed). Join me on a layman’s journey through the Land of Specialists!

I started listening to the first episode and didn’t think too much about continuing, although I’ve alway loved Dax. But then last year, I went back to it...oh my god! I’m in love with every fascinating, thought provoking talks with truly brilliant guests. And fring Dax could not make me love him more with his brilliant mind and raw self examination and hilarious wit. I try to keep track of some of his cleaver word choices but there’s so many great ones ... like, his garden hose, talking about his veins when he gets his blood drawn. LOL I’m dyslexic and relate with so much about the story I’ve told myself. Monica has her hands full and does such a great job! Wabby Wab too. Because of this podcast I’m now listening to Malcom Gladwell, Sam Harris, Ronan Farrow, so many greats! Bravo!
