Hello, and welcome to the Optimistic Advocate. The Podcast that brings you just a bit closer to recognizing your full potential as an advocate for change - yours, mine, and everyone's! I'm your host, Scott, Bryant-Comstock, and I'm CEO and founder of the Children's Mental Health Network. In 2019, I had a full-blown Kundalini awakening. That experience has clarified many of the questions about purpose, focus, and mission that I have had my entire life. And heck, I want to share those learnings with you!Monday through Friday, you can listen to "The Daily Drop," where I share the lessons I have learned from my kundalini awakening. In each episode, I provide practical tips that you can use to move yourself just a bit closer to the better self you want to be. Insights from me, always a bit of poetry, and inspiring homework for you, as we move together on this wonderful journey of creating harmony with the universe. Daily Drop episodes typically run from 10 - 20 minutes in length, just enough to give you something to chew on as you move through the day. As a bonus, periodically, we post a long-form interview with inspiring advocates who help individuals and families make positive changes in their lives in communities across the globe. These episodes typically run from 45 - 60 minutes in length, so give yourself some room to breathe and get inspired when you listen to these. You won't regret it! Authentic and REAL

Finally Scott has come out with a podcast! Such an authentic voice and I appreciate so much the “realness” he provides in all of his stuff, and now a podcast!! Really inspirational and informative. He has so much knowledge and insight into things that just aren’t shared publicly. By far the most informative podcast out there, sharing actual things happening that people should know about. P.S. For those of you who aren’t subscribed to receive his weekly updates “Friday Update”, get on it because that has been one of the best ways for me to stay connected to national things happening in the world of mental health.

In this episode of the Kundalini Chronicles, Scott discusses the concept of speed, and how we look at speed as a strength in our lives. But is it? Going fast has its casualties - relationships, intimacy, self awareness, are often victims of our incessant desire to go fast to get ahead and achieve our next goal. But what if the secret to getting ahead was not to go fast, but to go slow?

Scott's kundalini awakening showed him the power of going slow to go fast.

Rank #10: Kundalini Chronicles - When is Enough Enough?

Podcast cover
Read more

In this episode of the Kundalini Chronicles, Scott explores how his awakening change his view of when enough is enough.

Think about the the role having enough plays in your life. If you're like me, you often get in situations where instead of working through things, you let them build and build and build and build and build and build and build. And finally you say, all right, that's it, I've had enough. And you push through it. And it doesn't just have to be things that are focused on anger or frustration, it can be things that are focused on growth. What if there was no concept of enough? What if you didn't have to wait until the pressure got so intense that it had to explode? to get you to make the movement for what if you could just move forward? For me, that's what my awakening is all about. It is all about the practice of letting go.
