Rank #11: How to Get and Stay Focused During Chaotic Times EPS 59

If you're already working from home as a coach you have to consider yourself pretty blessed these days. A new normal has been introduced to us recently with the rise of the COVID-19 situation that's keeping kids, work, - all the things at home so we can safely ride this out. At least we got the working from home bit down pat.
But focusing on said work. Well that can prove itself a lot more challenging now now that the kids are around constantly, you need to hold space for the waves of emotions that can come up for everyone in the family during stressful times and figuring out how to stay safe and sane getting coaching out to your ideal clients that most especially need it during these chaotic times.
In this week's podcast, freshly renamed The Mom Coaches Getting Clients Podcast by the way, I'll be sharing how I eventually settled in from the frenzy of taking in the developments on the pandemic emergence (I was due to travel to Peru this March so I was hyper-tuned into its spread since January) to finally settling into a rhythm that has me surprisingly more focused than usual on my mission at hand. What's that you wonder? Hint: check out the new name of my podcast again.

Rank #12: Why You Don't Want to Be a Super Mom Coach Eps 58

If you want to be a super mom coach you're going to have to be a little less supermom. How's that for a contradiction?
Building a life coaching business is not for the faint of heart. It takes stamina, a clear message on how you can help and lots of self-coaching. And you can't do that if you're all the things to all the people.
When I think of Super Mom, I'm guessing it was a term picked up in the 80's. Can't help but think big hair, shoulder pads, latchkey kids. But when I think deeper, most of my moms are super. It's pretty impressive how many hats we all wear. But if we're not carefully tuned in to how much we're prioritizing everyone else's needs before our own, burn out can be just around the corner.
This is especially true if you're coaching moms. You need to be less super if you want to make a difference and a profit.
