Well worth a listen

It's good to hear people who enjoy all aspects of the game, and talk about it, and have a genuine love of the lore and fluff. If we're not going to pay attention to the lore, may as well just shove green army men across the table. The quality is good, the balance of hobby and "what we're doing in our local group" to rules, lore, and content is very good.

A hidden gem

As someone who has been on the fence about getting into the hobby, I was looking for a podcast to help convince me one way or the other and the casual format of this podcast was perfect for that. The audio quality is very nice, the enjoyment of the game is very obvious and the family friendly format allows me to listen to it in any situation. If you are looking for a podcast that will tell you the killer list combo, this may not be the podcast for you, but if you are wanting something where real friends get together and chat about a hobby they love, then please give this a listen.

Rank #5: EPISODE 5: HOBBY AND OUR LEAGUE ARMY PLANS

Podcast cover
Read more

Michael and Bryan are back and glad to be discussing Age of Sigmar again. In this episode we discuss the following: Hobby and Gaming We each discuss our current hobby including, painting, conversions, reading, and movies. Michael touches on the new game Gorechosen and what a good value it is, especially if you are Khorne collector. We both discuss a battle or two that we have participated in the past few weeks, although I can't really qualify the discussion as true battle report, we had a great time reliving the games. Finally, we discuss our local Slow Grow League and the our successful use of the Ladder System. Michael touches on his plans to expand the League into a more narrative style as the points values increase, and we discuss our plans for our armies in the new league.  It takes a bit of prodding but Michael finally gets Bryan to commit to a single army for the league. As you can see the content is a bit random this episode but we just had a great time getting together to discuss Age of Sigmar again.

Podcast cover
Read more

With Randy being in town between semesters, we really just played games.  Since he can't get games in when he is in school, we decided to record a battle report.  We played a 2 v 1 game with Ally joining us.

This was a huge game: 4000 points per side:

Randy played Tzeentch at 4000 points

Ally played Moonclan Grots at 2000 points (allied with me)

Michael (me) played Nurgle at 2000 points.

Yep, strange alliance, but we had a blast anyway.  We hope you enjoy, and keep rolling those dice.
