The first lecture of the "Life of the Prophet" conference in Manchester in January 2020- The Importance of Learning about the Prophet Sallalhu Alyhi Wassalam.- The belief of the Muslims is that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was the man who was sent by Allaah, as the final Prophet to the whole of mankind.- He was born in Makkah Saudi Arabia around 570 CE. (Year of the Elephant,on a Monday)-His father, Abdullāh died before he was born, and his mother died before he was six.-He was brought up by his grandfather Abdul-Muttalib, Once Abdul-Muttalib passed he was then raised by his uncle Abu Talib.- Abu Tālib was an important man in Makkah because he was the head of one of the most important clans. A clan was a group of families that were all related to each other (a tribe).- Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was born into the Hāshim clan which was part of the Quraysh tribe. - This was the ruling tribe of Makkah. 87 - Book of Tawheed - Sahih al-Bukhari - Abu Muadh Taqweem | Manchester

Sahih al-Bukhari – The Book of Tawheed – Lesson 89 (06/07/2019)Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Allah said, 'I am to my slave as he thinks of Me, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him). (See Hadith No. 502)Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "A man who never did any good deed, said that if he died, his family should burn him and throw half the ashes of his burnt body in the earth and the other half in the sea, for by Allah, if Allah should get hold of him, He would inflict such punishment on him as He would not inflict on anybody among the people. But Allah ordered the sea to collect what was in it (of his ashes) and similarly ordered the earth to collect what was in it (of his ashes). Then Allah said (to the recreated man ), 'Why did you do so?' The man replied, 'For being afraid of You, and You know it (very well).' So Allah forgave him."Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard the Prophet saying, "If somebody commits a sin and then says, 'O my Lord! I have sinned, please forgive me!' and his Lord says, 'My slave has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven my slave (his sins).' Then he remains without committing any sin for a while and then again commits another sin and says, 'O my Lord, I have committed another sin, please forgive me,' and Allah says, 'My slave has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven my slave (his sin). Then he remains without Committing any another sin for a while and then commits another sin (for the third time) and says, 'O my Lord, I have committed another sin, please forgive me,' and Allah says, 'My slave has known that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and punishes for it I therefore have forgiven My slave (his sin), he can do whatever he likes."Narrated Anas: I heard the Prophet saying, "On the Day of Resurrection I will intercede and say, "O my Lord! Admit into Paradise (even) those who have faith equal to a mustard seed in their hearts." Such people will enter Paradise, and then I will say, 'O (Allah) admit into Paradise (even) those who have the least amount of faith in their hearts." Origins and Rise of the Ash'ari Creed - Abu Khadeejah | Manchester

Ustaadh Abu Khadeejah traces back the creed of the Ash’arees to ibn Kulaab (d. 240 AH). He lived in the same era as Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal (d. 241 AH). The majority of Muslims today are upon this creed. The companions never differed in Aqeedah or the foundations of the religion. He explains how their creed came about and how this links with the beliefs common among Muslims today. Abul Hassan al-Ash’ari (d. 329 AH) whom the Ash’arees ascribe themselves to, was a Mu’tazilee until the age of 40. He then adopted the ideology of the Kullaabiyah. Jahm ibn Safwaan and Ja’d ibn Dirham the predecessors of ibn Kullaab were so extreme that they were executed due to their extreme believes. Abu Khadeejah gives details of their deviations and explains how they are all linked. Abul Hassan al-Ash’aree later started to seek knowledge, and after studying from the hanbalis he repented and returned to the Sunnah. This is the belief that he died upon, as he stated himself in his books and so did his companions. In fact, the Ash’arees take the belief of Ash’aree when he was upon the way of the Kullaabiyah. In fact, they even adopted the original ideas of the Mu’tazila and Jahmiyyah that even ibn Kullaab refuted. They said, "You have given us the good news; now give us (something)." (After a while) some Yemenites entered, and he said to them, "O the people of Yemen! Accept the good news, as Bani Tamim have refused it. " They said, "We accept it, for we have come to you to learn the Religion. So we ask you what the beginning of this universe was." The Prophet said "There was Allah and nothing else before Him and His Throne was over the water, and He then created the Heavens and the Earth and wrote everything in the Book." Then a man came to me and said, 'O Imran! Follow your she-camel for it has run away!" So I set out seeking it, and behold, it was beyond the mirage! Principles of the Salafi Manhaj - Abu Iyaad

Abu Iyaad goes through the works of:- The Permanent Committee of Scholars- Shaykh Ubayd al-Jaabiree- Shaykh Abdus-Salaam Burjis- Shaykh Abdullah BukhariExplaining the Principles of the Salafi Dawah. More Notes available on www.learnaboutislam.co.ukWhat is Salafiyyah? It is the way Messenger of Allah and the companions and to call to it with wisdom and call to that which is best while striving oneself in acting upon what he calls others to.It is the balanced middle way“Thus We have made you, a balanced nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger be a witness over you.” 2:143Shaykh Fawzan said the word Salafi does cause a split, between the Salafis who are upon the way of the Salaf (the Messenger of Allah, his companions and those who followed them) and the people of innovation and misguidance. This is a praiseworthy distinction. “And I followed the religion of my fathers Ibrahim, Ishaaq and Ya’qoob, it is not for us to associate anything as partner with Allah” (12:38). We ask Allah to make us from those upon the Madhab of the Salaf. We do not just gather people, but we call them to the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, in accordance to the undersanding of the Salaf and the sound creed.“And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun and the Ansar and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success.” 9:100“ihsaan” in this verse means “itqaan” means being precise in following them and reference to those who follow them in knowledge and action. So it is upon you to learn the madhab of the salaf and so you can hold fast on to it.
