It’s Superman vs. Spider-Man in a battle of the ages! or something along those lines.

Ben’s #1 favorite superhero meets Matt’s #1 favorite superhero! What happens when Marvel and DC’s greatest creations meet? Do Lex Luthor and Dr. Octopus make for a good team-up?

Does this giant-sized comic book live up to the hype?

It’s the first ever team-up of DC and Marvel;s greatest heroes, and when they meet, fists will fly, people will fly, and the very world is in danger!

This is a part of the Conway’s Corner Crossover, which started as a result of some comments he made about royalties for character he created being used in other media. He’s since back down on some of his comments, but that was the impetus behind creating what may be the first of many crossovers between comic book-themed podcasts celebrating great creators.

Here’s a list of the other podcasts involved:

Both Marvel and DC Comics are planning a multiverse-spanning event in 2015.  At Marvel the event is called Secret Wars (starting May 2015) and at DC the event is called Convergence (starting April 2015).

In this episode, Daniel and Matt discuss what might happen in each of these events, and they speculate on what each of these comic company’s universes will look like when their respective events have completed.

Both of these events seem to be pitting heroes and villains from parallel universes against each other.  Are you planning to check out either of these two events?  Let us know what you are most excited for below!

On January 20, 2015, Marvel Executive Editor Tom Breevort and Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso made a huge announcement about the future of the Marvel Universe.

You may have already heard by now, but (SPOILERS) the entire Marvel Multiverse is about to be drastically changed forever.  The Marvel 616 Universe (that started in 1961) is coming to an end, and in this episode, Ben and Matt give their initial reactions to this world-shattering news.  This episode was recorded a few hours after the announcement was made by Marvel, so it features same-day speculation.

Worlds will live.  Worlds will die.  And the Marvel Universe will never be the same.
