A fellow author directed me to this podcast and I’m so grateful! I’m a new author and have so much to learn. I love how the host gets right to the point without a lot of unnecessary gibberish. She has a good balance between personal info and practical, honest tips to help us all become better. The episodes leave me inspired and enlightened, and I don’t feel so alone! Thank you KM Weiland!

I discovered Katie through her book Creating Character Arcs that has been sitting on my shelf for months. I finally read it last week and took copious notes ahead of a big revision to my drafted novel. Then I searched good podcasts for writers and I selected Helping Writers Become Authors based on the title and summary. I didn't realize it was K.M. Weiland until I loaded the most recent episode on 1st chapters. The episode was PERFECT and such a good reminder of the rules we should know but never remember and never all at once. I'm hooked.
