A man is found in his hotel room naked, bound, and stabbed, yet barely still alive. Everything was taken, including the toiletries provided by the hotel. After telling the police that no one did this to him, he dies. Authorities quickly learn that he's not who he said he was, but the circumstances around his death don't add up. To add to the confusion, a series of anonymous phone calls and letters are received, which provided more questions than answers.

Robinson took to the internet to lure women with promises of a new and better life. When their families started receiving letters from their missing family members that bore their signatures, everyone assumed that they really had just run away, but when authorities searched Robinson's property, they found more than they had bargained for.

Today's story is about one of the bravest children we've ever had the privilege of hearing about. Jennifer Schuett was abducted straight from her own bedroom in the middle of the night when she was only 8 years old. Her abductor slit her throat, and left her for dead in the middle of a field. There she lay for almost 24 hours before she was found. And she was ALIVE! Not only that, this little girl gave it everything she had to help police find the man responsible.

But to do that, he'd have to take the temple over.

119: Cryptic: Isidor Fink, Locked Room Mystery

Podcast cover
Read more
It sounds like something out of a crime novel, and often times, stores such as these are. But the murder of Isador Fink was very real. His neighbor heard screams and called the police, but no one could get inside. After sending a small boy through a tiny window, they finally got in. There was no murder weapon which meant it wasn't a suicide, no other fingerprints, no money taken, and several locks locked from the inside. Who could have committed a seemingly impossible crime?
