So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen goodnight. As the season draws to a close we switch to a flat back four as new signing, Rich Aughpin, joins the team at Anfield South. With Stevie G making an appearance before the boys attempt to dissect the events from Kiev it's not all doom and gloom. Well, not until we start talking about THAT CHEATING B*STARD and what he did to our Mo. But isn't that something we've seen time and time again on the biggest stage? And weren't we just beaten by the better team on the night? It's certainly up for debate. We also take time to pause, reflect and remember the 39 football fans that lost their lives at Heysel Stadium in Belgium 33 years ago this week before Liverpool and Juventus contested the European Cup Final in 1985. Having quickly moved to sign Fabinho under the radar, we also look at what Klopp must do to take the team forward and avoid sentiment in the wake of the mistakes that cost us the final. Loris Karius looks certain to have played his last game for the club, but where next for LFC in terms of recruitment? As we head off to sunnier climes, we'd all like to thank you for joining us for what's been one hell of a ride this season. Your comments and banter in the group mean a lot to us, so keep 'em coming. We'll see you on the other side. Find Us On Facebook: www.facebook.com/groups/passandmovepodcast/ Follow Us On Twitter: twitter.com/PassAndMovePod

Rank #2: Episode 36 - Giz That F***ing Trophy Ronaldo

This week it's full steam ahead as the Holy Trinity of Nash, Moose and Princess are back in the studio as we look ahead to the big one in Kiev where immortality beckons for someone. Our guests this week are award-winning journalist and Koppite, Brian Reade, plus Liverpudlian hack in exiled in Madrid, Andy Hall. Brian talks to us about how his love affair with the Kop began by interviewing none other than BILL SHANKLY as a seventeen year-old. He also tells the boys about the special qualities he sees in Klopp that have led us to this point and enabled him to bring out the very best in the players. Hall gives us the lowdown on what Real Madrid have been up to in their last few games and an insight into some of the threats Liverpool will face on Saturday evening in Kiev. We also spend some teary-eyed moments looking back to THAT night in ISTANBUL as we cast our minds back to the last time the Reds achieved the impossible. Perhaps rather stupidly, we also try and compare like for like between the victorious team of 2005 and Jurgen's Red Men. Think Djimi Traoré vs Andy Robertson and Mané vs Baros and you can see the problems we faced... In Sportsnight we wonder how Emré Can's barber is feeling right now as we wonder what everyone might make of [the] Fekir if he makes the trip and checks in to Anfield... And as we reach the heart-stopping finale Mark & Moose (think René & Renata) tick one off the bucket list as we record the new Pass & Move version of “Hide the Sausage” - reworked as “Giz our F*cking Trophy Ronaldo” - accompanied by Mr Nash on guitar. Somewhere in between we have Carragher and Gerrard, Henry Winter, MADNESS and Mr Klopp himself. This week Nasher is HOME ALONE skippering the good ship 'Anfield South' through unchartered waters, having been deserted by his motley crew. Apparently Mark is trapped in [a] Bath and Moose has only gone and remembered that it's his son's birthday. Those two are on the ball aren't they? Melts. Next week we'll all be livin' on the edge as Nasher lets them attempt to change a lightbulb... Our guests this week are LFC LEGEND JIMMY CASE and Liverpudlian troubadour, Tony Steele. Jimmy discusses Liverpool's second leg showing in Rome, while Tony - who went to the game - tells us about what it was actually like to be a Liverpool fan in Rome that day. Music this week comes from Chris Mullin and The Sums who play us 'Small Smile' before Chris plays us one of his own, 'Just want you to know'. Base player and songwriter, Chris, talks to Nasher about what the band have been up to, playing in Japan with Hurricane #1 and remembers guitarist, Lee Watson, who sadly passed away in 2016. Episode THIRTY THREE of the Pass & Move Podcast is now available: ROMA SPECIAL: "Top Bins! Top Bins! No Mercy!" This week's show is packed to the rafters with Goals, Banter and some rather awful attempts at replicating Egyptian Commentators celebrating old Golden Boots... Oh and we sent Nasher to the ROMA First Leg at Anfield where he met some LFC chums and old Pass & Movers on what turned out to be a rather emotional DRUNKEN Evening. Well worth a listen! Oh and in the middle we *catch-up with Stevie G and Wayne Rooney. Nasher, Mark & Moose are joined in the studio by IAN SEDDON of Tempus Sports Management. Ian helps demystify the dark and murky world of the FOOTBALL AGENT and brings some clarity to a space that's courted much controversy over the years. Episode TWENTY EIGHT of the Pass & Move Podcast is now available: Marvellous Mo and the Temple of [Certain] Doom. This week the dynamic duo are back at Anfield South shorn of Moose after the melt suffered a severe setback in his quest to get match fit again. Apparently, being body-double for Phil Mitchell is proving to be harder than he first thought. Our guest this week is Neil Clark, a renowned UK-based journalist, writer, broadcaster and regular contributor to newspapers and magazines in the UK and overseas including The Guardian, The Week, RT, Morning Star, the Daily & Sunday Express, The Mail on Sunday & The Spectator. A passionate Wednesday fan, Neil talks to us about the current political landscape, talk of banning RT, how England are faring under Gareth Southgate and why some of the criticism currently being directed at Russia and their hosting of the tournament is misplaced at best and potentially dangerous for England fans. As a sports hack and betting enthusiast he also has some top tips for the National after he reveals the strategy that saw him buying the drinks at Cheltenham.... 'Seven Days' sees us taking a look at another masterclass in destruction from the Temple of [Certain] Doom, as the lambs of Watford are offered up at the Sacrificial alter by Marvellous Mo. The Notorious Biggsy is in da house talking stats and why Mr Salah might just be the greatest thing we've seen in a Red shirt since, well, King Kenny. This week's musical guest was at a juncture in life when Babylon Zoo's Spaceman was presented to him. That record almost immediately took the Number 1 spot in 23 different countries and became the then fastest selling debut single of all time by selling 418,000 copies during its first week of release. Since then Steve Power has been behind some of the biggest hits for Robbie Williams, Babybird, Busted, Joe Cocker, McFly, Beth Rowley and Steven Duffy. Steve tells us about a life working on demos for bands like Frankie goes to Hollywood, Dead or Alive and Black, before going on to record with Womack & Womack a Billy Ocean among others...
