Rank #3: Perla Servan-Schreiber: Growing Joy (Dubbed in English)
This episode of Pardon My French was originally recorded in French. You can also listen to the undubbed version of the episode on our website and wherever you listen to our podcast.
Today’s episode is quite a special one as Garance’s conversation with the immensely wise Parisian, Perla Servan-Schreiber, was originally recorded in French, and but is offered here in English.
Perla is a fascinating woman with an equally fascinating career and life. Her latest book, Les promesses de l’âge : A 75 ans, ma nouvelle liberté, teaches us about the joy of growing older and how to embrace it gracefully and with pleasure. She possesses countless words of wisdom and is an inspiration to us all. You won’t want to miss it. Pardon My French is released every Monday on iTunes.

Rank #5: Carte Blanche: Home
As we all know, a home does not have to be the place you were born, where you grew up or even where you live now. It can be a person or a smell and your understanding of it can evolve as you grow older. Homes can be nomadic, they can be wherever your loved ones are, or, it can even be a place you’ve never been before.
This month’s episode of Carte Blanche explores this idea of home and we talk to a few friends of the Atelier about what home means to them.
Carie spoke with our good friend, Lizzie Mac, from The Gathery, an experiential agency in New York. Lizzie is the child of refugees and a first generation Asian-American and she sat down with Carie to talk about her experience of what it’s like to be a beautiful blend of multiple cultures and how that shaped her identity. They talk about Lizzie’s decision to finally visit the country her parents had to flee decades ago and what it was like to be welcomed into a place she’d only known from afar.
In the next segment, Veronica chats with one of our favorite writers, Sarah Tarca, who helms the lifestyle website, The Wayward, about editing down her life, embracing new places and spaces, new adventures (those planned and some very happy surprises along the way) and ultimately about redefining the idea of home as she knew it.
Special thanks to The Smile Radio for letting us record in their studio. Pardon My French is released every Monday on iTunes.

Veronica redefines the term, « mother, » and today shares her wisdom with Garance on many things, including life, love and even sex! Pardon My French is released every Monday on iTunes.

Rank #9: Pocket PMF: Sex + Dating Coach, Myisha Battle
Today we’re bringing you a sexy bonus episode of Pocket PMF for Valentine’s Day! We definitely couldn’t do a month of sex content without chatting up some experts, so Carie sat down with one such expert, Myisha Battle. Based in the Bay Area (though serving clients the world over), Myisha is a certified sex and dating coach who’s made it her mission to help people have more fulfilling and exciting sex lives through her business, Sex for Life, and her podcast, Down For Whatever. The two of them talk about the stigmas around being and seeing a sex coach, the difference between a sex coach and a sex therapist and more. Myisha offers up some great advice and was gracious enough to answer some of your (and our) burning questions. You definitely won’t want to miss this one. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Rank #10: Pocket PMF: Augustinus Bader
A little while ago, Veronica introduced us to a new brand on the beauty beat, Augustinus Bader, and the science behind its two products, The Cream and The Rich Cream. Like a true beauty junkie, Veronica committed to trying out The Cream for 27 days and she’s here to report her findings and generally talk skincare shop with Caitlin, a self-declared luxe beauty addict who’s newly devoted to The Rich Cream, Emily, who’s on a serious mission for clear skin, and Mary, one of the lucky few who’s cruising through life mostly blemish-free and consequently would rather spend her money on shoes. The group delves into their individual skincare histories and how they’ve evolved with age, tips they gleaned from their mothers, why Veronica and Caitlin will be continuing their journeys with their respective Augustinus Bader creams and more. Pardon My French is published every Monday on iTunes.
