The Russian author on Female pilots

By bontiki1350 - May 31 2020
Read more
I just listened to the interview with the author who wrote the stories of the famous female pilots on the Russian side. Very interesting subject, However, that was one of the MOST PAINFUL interviews I have ever suffered through. An hour interview where only 15 minutes of content. She spoke decent English, but poorly communicated the flow of the story. Lots of Ummms and repeats of sentences three or four times. If this was an interview for print media. I think it would have been heavily edited to make the story flow... so, why can’t audio interviews be either edited or... give the interviewees questions before had where she could have given the answers after she wrote them in English and read her response. She ...to me...was trying to translate from Russian thought to English on the fly and failing.. this interview was a great example of poor journalism. Spend more on production.
