Host Jeremy Juhasz and Kevin Massare discuss whether fans should ease up on the Bills 0-2 start to their 2018 campaign. Given the fact it's only been two games into the season and facing two tough opponents, there is an argument that Buffalo could still post a respectable record.

Rank #3: 15: Episode 75 - Bills/Panthers Wrap up

Podcast cover
Read more
After a week of practice together, the Buffalo Bills defeated the Carolina Panthers in Week 2 of the Preseason by score of 27-14. The Bills' starters showed up this evening, both offense and defense, showing excellent team chemistry on-field and executing their plays relatively effectively.
Josh Allen had one of his better passing games against the Panthers defense, who sat some of their star defenders. Regardless of who played, Josh Allen's ability to make his reads quickly, as well as getting the ball out of his hands even quicker, leaves continued optimism for his personal growth from last season to now. Allen finished the evening 9-for-11 on completions with 102 yards in the air.
Allen made strong connections with his receiving corp as well, including two big catches for Rookie Tight End Tommy Sweeney. The 7th Round Pick from Boston College has made the most of his time with Buffalo's first string offense, in the absence of several others ahead of him on the depth chart.
Cole Beasley caught five passes on five targets from Allen as well, furthering Beasley's chemistry with Josh, as well as his emergence as one of Buffalo's premier receivers in 2019. LeSean McCoy also had some receptions from Josh Allen, as well as an up-the-gut TD to score the games first points.
The Defense continued its solid run, putting pressure on the Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey-less Panthers offense. First and second string excelled. Kevin Johnson had a 70-yard pick six, Ed Oliver disrupted the offense while battling two Panthers lineman, and overall, the depth continues to shine. Buffalo has the potential to be a Top 5 Defense again, and most importantly, improve upon last years results.

The 2019 NFL Season has officially began, as of this past Wednesday at 4pm. Rumors of signings from Monday til Wednesday circulated around the web, until they were made official, and I must say, I'm pretty thrilled with Brandon Beane's work so far.
In what I’ve stated as Beane's most important off-season yet, he has risen to the challenge, made great deals in getting talent to Buffalo, and addressing the Bill's needs. Predominantly Offensive Talent, leading me to believe he'll utilize the draft to bolster the defense.

Rank #6: Episode 57 : Bills Stadium Survey and Renovation vs New Stadium Thoughts

Podcast cover
Read more
This Past Week, in a relatively slow week of news, the Buffalo Bills signed a former CFL Wide Receiver, Duke Williams, who happens to be the one of the best CFL WR's statistically. Last Season with the Edmonton Eskimos, he finished with 1,579 Receiving Yards on the Season. Hopefully, we can see that type of performance and a chemistry with Josh Allen next season.
Also, this past week, the Bills sent out a survey concerning a new or renovated Stadium. It's a relatively in depth survey, which should take roughly 5 minutes to take, but for episode's sake, Matt discusses every question asked.
There are pros and cons to every angle, every aspect when discussing any stadium talk. Renovating New Era Field or Building a New Stadium? Making it Open Air, or Indoor? With a retractable roof? Keeping it in Orchard Park or moving it elsewhere? So many possibilities. So many differing opinions. If you haven't taken the survey yet, a quick google search will guide your way, and make your voice or opinion heard.

Rank #8: 30: Episode 90 - Bills win big in national spotlight

Podcast cover
Read more
The Buffalo Bills won big on Thanksgiving, landing their first "statement win", against the Dallas Cowboys with the world watching. Buffalo, for the last 20 years, has been a team that collapsed when the national spotlight was placed on them, but this was different.

Buffalo delivered in a big way, and embarrassing the Cowboys, in their home stadium, and in a game that they have played in every year, since the 1960's. I'll admit, that it was strange to watch the Bills in a scenario like this, and a player in a Bills jersey eating a turkey leg to close out the game.

The offense fired on all cylinders, with Josh Allen moving the ball efficiently, by air, connecting with Cole Beasley, who was out for revenge against his former team. Devin Singletary caught a touchdown pass himself, as well as dominating on the ground. Allen looked like the franchise quarterback that Buffalo has long awaited, for the first time. It was certainly a defining game.

The Bills defense handled itself well. Giving up touchdowns to Dallas on their first and last possessions only, they did well, disrupting the number one ranked offense in the NFL. Dak Prescott, in an important contract situation this season, turned the ball over several times. He had defenders in his face all night, and even Ezekiel Elliott couldn't get anything going.

Buffalo looked good when the lights shined bright, but what lays in front of them is another challenge, in the form of the red hot Baltimore Ravens. It's hard to not try and enjoy this win against Dallas on a special occasion. With 10 days to prepare for the offensive onslaught that Lamar Jackson has brought against the best of the NFL, there is a lot more work that has to be done before the real celebrating can commence.

Rank #15: Episode 55: Personnel Releases and Nick Wojton's 13 Things to Look to in the Offseason

Podcast cover
Read more
The First week of Buffalo's Off Season saw the release of 3 Personnel!
OL Coordinator Juan Castillo, WR Coach Terry Robiskie, and much anticipated Special Teams Coach Danny Crossman.
All 3 were some of Buffalo's weakest points this season. The Offensive Line could not protect Josh Allen adequately, and only enabled our star RB LeSean McCoy an average of 3.2 yards per carry, a career low. The Wide Receiving Core was an interchangeable mix, with some shining stars in Zay Jones, Isaiah McKenzie and Robert Foster. Special Teams has also not helped put Buffalo in winning situations at all this year. Change was needed.
Matt reviews Nick Wojton's article earlier this week on the 13 Things to Look for in the Offseason, which was incredibly well detailed. There are a lot of check marks that need to be taken going forward into the next season.

Rank #20: 1: Episode 60 : Draft Memories

Podcast cover
Read more
It's been a slow off-season. Trades aren't allowed to process until the middle of March, and the 2019 NFL Draft is still a few months away. It's well known that Kyle Williams playing days are done, and it brings up the question. How many Homegrown/groomed has Buffalo produced through the draft, since the beginning of the former Playoff Drought?

It's not a great percentage, as many draft picks floundered completely, or eventually made their strides for other teams. In this Episode of the Billswire podcast, Matt runs through every name drafted by the Buffalo Bills since the 2000 NFL Draft, bringing back memories of good picks, bad picks, and missed opportunities.
