Generalized Japanese

Just by listening to the first lesson, I'm dissapointed. They generalized Hello. Konnichiwa actually means Good Afternoon. Not just hello. If you walk up to a person in Japan and it just happens to be lets say 10am and you say konnichiwa, they will look at you like you are stupid. Ohaiyo is good morning. konnichiwa is good afternoon Konbanwa is good evening.
