I'm an American anglophile British-wannabe, so I love anything and everything British culture in between visits to the UK. Not sure how I stumbled on this podcast, but not only do I LOVE hearing Jo's moans about the Circle Line (which I can relate to even as a non-Brit given that I avoid the Circle line like the plague) - but the subject matter is SO. MUCH. FUN!! The guests are so entertaining and I love being introduced to new celebs, but the best part is the "is it just me?" banter that everyone can relate to. The topics are things we think about - but rarely discuss, so the premise of the podcast is absolute genius. This is the only podcast - out of lots - that I gobble up as soon as a new episode is released. Jo and James could interview *anyone* and it would be highly entertaining. The podcast just gets better and better.

Jo and James are joined in the podcupboard by the delightful, funny and generally joyous TV presenter Cherry Healey, who's come loaded with stories from her new series Sex, Knives and Liposuction.

They talk about how commonplace cosmetic surgery has become, forays into vegetarianism and tricky diets, ridiculous mispronounciations (pacific for specific? Expresso for espresso?) and there's a listener IIJM too.

This episode was edited by Kat Brown and recorded by James Williams on 17 September.

Jo and James are joined by an old friend this week in the shape of the actress and social media powerhouse Tanya Burr. Tanya tells all about auditions, going for it, and taking to the stage in the Southwark Playhouse’s production of Confidence.

Plus, a lovely IIJM listener email from Nigeria, and is it just Jo who’s had enough of Twitter? Is it just Tanya who loves to scare herself? And is it just James who absolutely hates baths? (Weird, James. Baths are great.)

This week's episode was edited by Kat Brown, with music by Martin Austwick. Confidence is at the Southwark Playhouse, London, from May 23.

She's back! Last time Jameela Jamil joined Jo in the podcupboard, it was to talk about her forthcoming show, The Good Place. And now she's back to talk to Jo and James about what a huge hit it's become, and how it feels to have to keep your cool when you're filming opposite Ted Danson all the time.

Plus, the trio tackle a listener 'Is It Just Me?' about comort zones; James gets hot and bothered about people not bothering to remember your name, and Jo's getting a professional declutterer in. Watch Jameela in the series finale of The Good Place on Netflix this Friday.

For one, Anna is now Anna Newton, having got married just two weeks before joining us in the cupboard. And for another, they're now fully paid-up members of the GLAMOUR features meeting academy.

So hey, is it OK... to not enjoy being engaged? To constantly think "what's next" rather than living in the here and now, and is it OK to never answer your phone?

Jo is joined in the podcupboard by TV and radio presenter (and Strictly winner) Caroline Flack, and GLAMOUR's Associate Editor James Williams. Joy hits the podcupboard this week in the form of Nigella Lawson, who joins James Williams and Kat Brown for the last in this series of Hey, It's OK... to talk about her new BBC One show - and fabulous accompanying book - At My Table.

Two podcast first-timers join Jo Elvin in the podcupboard this week: Sagal Mohammed, GLAMOUR's new Entertainment Assistant, and the fabulous YouTuber Fleur De Force, who is not, but is a much-cherished friend of GLAMOUR nonetheless. Is it OK to genuinely love a bit of good old British pomp and ceremony? And is it OK to not like your own company? The broadcaster and journalist and, as Jo calls her, “busiest b***h at the BBC”, Tina Daheley, surfaces after 10 years of presenting breakfast news for BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, and other channels. She takes a breather in the podcupboard with Jo and James to compare notes on covering this year’s Royal Wedding, not missing a single breakfast show (despite some very close shaves after team nights out), and moonlighting on the News at Ten and encountering Huw Edwards. And a podcupboard crush is revealed on the very same charming Welsh newsreader!
