Miami-based Henrix exploded onto
the house circuit in the end of 2014 like a relentless meteor shower. He
released a series of successful tracks on several well-known labels. Rounding
out December was "Light" on Fedde le Grand's Flamingo Recordings,
followed by 'The Underground', his first release on Cr2 Records this year. Both
releases have already received strong support from Laidback Luke, Steve
Angello, AN21, and Danny Avila. Furthermore, Henrix just announced a coveted
residency at Light Las Vegas, joining a heavy-hitting rotation of DJs for the
upcoming season, it's no doubt that he will keep going up, up, up!

Henrix has teamed up with Swedish duo Mason's
Rave on his newest release for Cr2 Records, appropriately titled 'Warrior'. For
anyone who's ever imagined themselves as the hero in an epic adventure movie -
'Warrior' is your modern theme song. The track's percussive opening serves as a
prelude to the adventure ahead, the tension grows as grandiose background music
layers into the mix. The massive drop is followed by hard-hitting jungle beats,
and then the listener is catapulted through the rest of the 'Warrior' saga.
Henrix manages to narrate a journey in this single, be it in the Amazon jungles
or your next massive show.

'Warrior' has already piqued the interest of
fellow producers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, who featured it on their
popular 'Smash The House' radio show. With the spring festival season fast
approaching, there is no doubt that the track will be getting lots of crowds
moving during Miami Music Week and beyond. With three new releases under his
belt and a season full of rocking crowds at The Light Vegas ahead of him,
Henrix continues to establish himself among the forefront of music producers.

17 Ramin Djawadi - Game of Thrones Theme (Armin Van Buuren Remix)Bio:The Disco Fries are an American production duo, consisting of Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic. In late Fall of 2007, the duo started making music together as roommates at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. From the beginning, Nick & Danny have consistently blurred the lines between genres and managed to create a unique balance between big-room classical melodies and their signature blown out basslines. Their music has been supported by some of the biggest names in EDM such as Tiesto, Hardwell, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, and R3hab. Their presence in the blogosphere is equally as impressive with features in Dancing Astronaut, This Song Is Sick, & Gotta Dance Dirty. Additionally, the duo has hit the Hypem Popular Chart #1 spot multiple times with both their original productions and remixes. 2013 was a big year for the Disco Fries, which began by being named one of VIBE Magazine's "30 DJs to Watch in 2013." Their buzz continued to grow when they released their track, "Lose It," which was premiered by Tiesto during his set at Electric Zoo in NYC. His support led to a working relationship that flourished through the latter part of the year, culminating in their first official collaboration, "iTrance." Released in October of 2013 in celebration of Tiesto receiving the DJ Mag & KLM DJ Legend Award, the free download saw critical acclaim, was supported by Above & Beyond, and was embraced by fans old and new. Following the success of "iTrance," the Fries released their first track on Tiesto's Musical Freedom, "Philtrum." Applauded for its creative and unique sound, the record cemented the duo's position as a production powerhouse who isn't afraid to think outside of the box. Not content with just releasing their own music, the Disco Fries started their own imprint, "Liftoff Recordings," to nuture up-and-coming talent, giving them a platform to grow. With only a few releases under its belt, the young label has been well received and continues to grow in support with each new record. To reinforce the label's vision, the Fries launched their monthly "Liftoff Radio" show to highlight this young talent. With scheduled releases in 2014 on Zouk, Musical Freedom, and Ultra, the Disco Fries are making the music they want to make and the world seems to be taking note."We're always looking to push ourselves to explore new sounds. We want to keep making music that we enjoy sharing with people and people enjoy hearing. The party never ends for us." - The Disco

15. Wasted Penguinz - Reflection (Original Mix) Wasted Penguinz are a Hardstyle duo from HelsingborgSweden.
The duo consists of two artists; Pontuz Bergman & Jon
Brandt-Cederhäll. They began producing together in 2008, after meeting
each other on a message board, originally being rivals.Pontuz (Teequee) and Jon (Dan-J)
first met up late 2006 for the very first time. Before hand, they only
had internet contact. Pontuz proposed the idea to meet up for the
weekend and produce music together. Up until 2008 Pontuz and Jon were
solo artists producing euro dance music which they then decided to start
a group producing hardstyle music. The track 'Scantraxx Rootz' by
Headhunterz & Abject aka. Frontliner inspired Pontuz and Jon to
produce hardstyle music and the name 'Wasted Penguinz' was born which
came together over brainstorming and beer.Pontuz and Jon
created a few tracks and sent them to some record labels and had a
response from Bazz Implant and IMPMusic. They signed for Bazz Implants
and had two successful releases. This is where it all began for the
Wasted Penguinz. Two years after the group was founded, the Wasted Penguinz were signed to a major Dutch label, Scantraxx in
the summer of 2010. Their first Scantraxx release was on June 18, 2010.
This release contained two tracks, "I'm Free" and "Anxiety", and was
released on Scantraxx Silver. Their second release on Scantraxx Silver was in October 2010, containing the tracks "Hate Mondayz" and "Resistance".All the tracks on both of their first two Scantraxx releases reached the "Hardstyle Top 100 of 2010" list from,
the then largest radio station devoted to harder styles of dance music.
"Resistance" reached position 11, "Anxiety" reached position 23, "I'm
Free" at 37, and finally "Hate Mondayz" at position 49. They also won
the "Best New Face" award from
interviewed Pontus & Jon, who revealed that they were in contact
with Scantraxx since December 2009, and it was only made official in the
summer of 2010.

Rank #6: iEDM Radio Episode 118: Mosimann

Podcast cover
Read more
After four months of heavy exposure on French TV in 2008, many people thought Quentin Mosimann's artistic path would be nothing but common. Under the spot lights of his uprising fame and signed by the biggest major company, everything was set to mute this young artist into one more throwable star. Once exposed to the almighty music industry's rules, he had to learn how to hide his deep love for electronic music, while his first album hit the stores with a stunning success ('Duel' is double-platinium certified). However, this wild night bird already had something else in mind, dreaming of larger horizons based on a wide range of electronic sounds. A long time before winning the most looked after vocal French TV show, he defined his strong identity hanging out with his buddies, all DJ's and hard-level clubbers. Just like them, Mosimann considered his decks as his first girlfriends, improving his own skills step by step, through self-taught technics. He also used to deejay in order to pay for his studies, by the way. Therefore, once he gained popularity, he naturally skipped his voice to focus on deejaying. Transition was not brute, though, as his creativity led him to mix a bit of his two natural skills. Respecting his high taste for club culture and electronic music, he went through his music collection and updated his vision of a high-energy dance music. There was no other option for him to loop out the very predictable mainstream format. Proud of the French heritage, inspired by some of his fellow heroes (Jean- Michel Jarre, Cerrone, Daft Punk, Laurent Garnier, David Guetta or, more lately, DJ Snake), he worked hard to build a new musical avatar powered by his strong passion for mixing. Behind his "Change Your Mind" baseline, his will to redefine deejaying came early in his mind. You just need to see him acting live to testify his incredible ability to perform and do the show. Forget about the classical image of all these DJ's satisfied with beat-matched transitions. Mosimann sacrifies his body and shares a wild and sweaty creativity. He plays with the crowd and stretches all kind of emotions into an euphoric danceable experience. He beats the tempo, plays the drums, scratches, sings and jumps like an LFO. Freed from any format, he loves mixing in the darkness of clubs as well as spotting the largest festival stages, offering then an overwhelming performance. Each of his spectacular shows is driven by his intention to give the best. Gifted artist, he drew his own path managing to bring the largest audience to his large electronic culture, somehow underground. After seven years of a solid progression, which four of them were lightened by a solid ranking within DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs, some new perspectives seem to appear now. Even if his hectic touring schedule bounds him to travel a lot, he has recently increased his studio schedule, composing new material and jamming on his synths and drums. Still working as an ambivalent artist, he tries to clone himself to combine his love for Pop with a powerful club energy. Circling back all of his deepest influences and inspirations, Mosimann acts like a chemist looking for unexpected recipes. Mind your ears, you shall be surprised right soon.

The creative union of Alexander Bjorklund and Sebastian Furrer, their reign under the At Night banner has given the industry landscape a new point of reference where breaking the rules and blurring the lines is concerned. Two years later, one album strong and still holding club floors and festival crowds across the continents, their pledge to stay clear of ‘that EDM bubble’ stands stronger than ever before for 2014.  After a chance online meeting the duo wasted little time making the pieces fit.  Bonded by a love for rave music and influences from across the musical spectrum, Alex’s structured perfectionism and Sebastian’s crazy creative habits would bring them together as one of the most coherent units to emerge from Sweden’s thriving dance community. By the time Ash Pournouri tuned into their work, the duo had already championed the ‘dubhouse’ sound – one that the global industry would quickly tune into and lap up like wildfire. Never ones to get hooked up on one sound, the duo passed on gracefully, taking with them a blatant disregard for genre rulebooks and the goal of being poster boys to the expanding boundaries of modern dance music.  Of all the early studio landmarks to bless their two-year streak, however, debut album Eject served up a number of career land marks. As the first dance album to be exclusively released through Spotify, lead single “Beam Me Up” would seal the duo as the first to ever top the Billboard charts with a single without formal label backing. It took just 14-tracks for Cazzette to champion both the album platform and the streaming market alike, setting a precedent once thought impossible to aspiring dance artists with album aspirations across the globe.  But where Cazzette is concerned, the future is the only direction worth dwelling on. At the outset of 2014, they’ve found what they want to represent and it sure isn’t limited to 128 BPM. Crossing genre conventions and building on their legacy with a focus on songs that they love, ‘Heroes’ signals the changing tides ahead, putting music with feeling atthe top of their agenda. Adding collaborations alongside both Shermanology and The High to the equation, the new music will be met with brand news masks for the global tour duties ahead. A bond of Swedish engineering and their own vivid imaginations, the focus on both live and studio work highlights yet another of the beauties of Cazzette. When the music evolves, the experience follows-suit. Made in Sweden, exported globally and controlled byno one genre’s playbook, Cazzette has truly taken control of their place in dance music’sexciting forward movements for @CazzetteTwitter @Cazzette

with Time Records to release the bomb track ‘Hands Up’ which receives
support from top international artists like Tiësto, Showtek, DVBBS,
MAKJ, Nari & Milani, Deorro, Quintino, Deniz Koyu and Danny Avila.
What follows is their remix for Don Diablo, the Axtone release called
‘Starlight’ which is played by DJs like Sander Van Doorn, Pete Tong,
MAKJ & La Fuente. After a series of releases and collabs, VINAI
joins world renowned Dutch label Spinnin’ Records in 2014 and quickly

track during WMC and Ultra Music festival and reaches the number 1
position on Beatport after five days from release, keeping that spot for
14 days in a row! Due to a lot of radio support and promotion, ‘Bounce
Generation’ exposes VINAI all over the world. So, 2014 is the year VINAI
turns into a global festival favourite. During the summer the brothers

during Tomorrowland when VINAI joins R3hab on
