This is my modern rendition of an old bluegrass song ) I was learning this song about one year or more and finally I made record if it! Can't still play it as fast as Earl Scruggs. But I used a beat which was made for me by the DJ shasuii (he did s little part of main beat) and I arranged it to the whole song and tried to create a modern sound. I also learn how to make mixing and I used all that I knew in this song)

A long-distance collaboration with my friends Bene and Jeannette who sent me a recording of them 'minus banjo' as they called it, of this Canadian French/English song, and which I gladly completed. It was a 1964 hit by Lucille Starr, who died three weeks ago.

My daughter recently turned 13 and, being a fan of Kermit the Frog, asked for a Kermit puppet and a small banjo for him to hold. I started fooling around with the melody to see if I could come up with a way to play it, as a present for her birthday. I wanted something that sounded a little different than the way it is normally played. After a couple of weeks I settled on this version. My friend Bob Hall, @BlueRain43, provided the double bass part.
The banjo was recorded with 2 iPhones and a Blue Yeti Pro USB mic at my house. The bass was recorded with fancier stuff at Bob's. Happy Birthday Emily and thank you Bob for your help. Headphones or hi-fi speakers are recommended for accurate reproduction of the double bass (instead of laptop or phone speakers).
