ON TIME, ON TARGET: Special operations military news and straight talk with the guys in the community. Hosted by former military operators. As seen ranked #1 in Apple Podcasts government category.
Rank #1: Ep. 322 - SGM Mike Vining, Delta Force legend.
SGM Mike Vining is a man who has been there, done that, and lived to tell about it. From attending OTC Class #1 (the first ever Operators Training Course for Army Delta Force) to being a part of the failed Iran hostage rescue mission Operation Eagle Claw, Desert One which resulted in the death of eight Air Force and Marine Corps crewmen, Vining has some very rich history that operators of today have benefited from tremendously. We also get into Vining's job as a bomb disposal technician during Vietnam, and the story of him watching the demise of his teammate Sgt. Maj. Kenneth Foster in his heroic attempt to defuse a bomb during a rally featuring then Vice Presidential candidate Bob Dole at a rally taking place at an Illinois high school. These stories may be heartbreaking, but it's great to see that Vining is in great condition himself and in good spirits. He currently does work for the National EOD Association as well as the EOD Warrior Foundation, and enjoys traveling across the country with his wife.On this episode we also check your emails sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, and answer an interesting question from an Australian listener about secrecy (or lack thereof) in the SOF community. We also Throat Punch an idiot by the name of Gregory Salcido, as he used the platform he holds as a high school teacher as his soapbox to disgrace the U.S. military. You'll also hear Jack's recap of SHOT Show, as well as the Women's March, and you won't want to miss that.
Rank #2: Ep. 441 - Rob O'Neill (SEAL Team 6/DEVGRU UBL shooter).
Robert J. O'Neill, author of "The Operator: Firing the Shots that Killed Osama bin Laden and My Years a SEAL Team Warrior," joins us for his third in studio appearance on SOFREP Radio. As is usually the case when Rob swings by, we have a lot of fun discussing all sorts of topics on this episode. We talk about the surreal moment for him of being interviewed by "King of All Media" Howard Stern after releasing his memoir, hanging with "Navy SEALs" star Charlie Sheen, being recognized by New York hiphop legends Onyx, and working with his pal Tim Montana. Don't worry, we also get into some more serious topics like the accusations of war crimes against Chief Eddie Gallagher, tensions between veterans of the SEAL community, his history with President Donald Trump, and Rob's views on foreign policy.Rob's been hard at work with his organization Your Grateful Nation in helping special operations veterans transition into corporate America. He also has some kick ass gear and signed books available over at RJO Apparel. Be sure to follow Rob on Instagram & Twitter @McHooyah where he's very active, and let him know what you thought of the interview. We'd love to have him back again, always a great discussion with The Operator.

Rank #1: GRP 41-Navy SEAL Sniper, The Last Punisher, Mindset, RIP Green Beret Matthew Thompson.
GRP 41-On for this episode is former US Navy SEAL Corpsman, and Sniper Kevin Lacz. Kevin is the author of the New York Times best selling book The Last Punisher: A SEAL Team THREE Sniper's True Account of the Battle of Ramadi. Kevin was apart of a Sniper element with US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. We talked about what its like going through BUDS which is the selection course for Navy SEALs. We talk Ramadi, mindset, SOF Medics, and some history. Below is an excerpt from our conversation.John Hendricks: The book is basically about your experience during a rotation to Ramadi. The insurgency moved from Fallujah to Ramadi. A very dangerous place. You were deployed with Chris Kyle, and he was a close friend of yours. Kevin Lacz: That 2006 deployment was the most pronounced out of my deployments. You’re right Ramadi at that point in time was kind of the epicenter of the insurgency in Iraq. It was also primed to be the template for the surge. We deployed in April 06 in support of the the 1st, the 502nd, the 36, 38 Marines in a new campaign to win hearts and minds. We supported them. We were mainly there to support them from a couple of different platforms. One was direct action missions. Presence patrols. Working with the Iraqi security forces patrolling daytime, and night time in these areas. The third was the Sniper element which proved to be the most effective. One of the gentlemen in our platoon was Chris Kyle. That deployment our platoon had over 230 confirmed kills, and Chris had 101 of those. Task unit together had 330 confirmed kills. That’s not airstrikes, rifle mainly sniper.
Rank #2: GRP 135-Wherever you go, go with all your heart: A Special Missions Operator at war.

My buddy Jason stops by... We go thru his background as a son of a PJ, talk about his life in special operations and an Arizona Wildcat football player. Then he stuck around for the local news; so we hit the troops going to the border, the Brazil election, prisoners from Bergdahl swap rejoin Taliban, dude cuts off his arm and does stolen valor. Plus a guy smeared himself with peanut butter and gets his dick bit off. Music: Soulfly/"Ritual"
Rank #2: Podcast#60: Vietnam SF/SOG operator John Meyer! 'Nam war stories, DACA, Bestiality castration.
This was outstanding... Special Forces legendSOG Vietnam Veteran and author John Stryker Meyer! John told great stories of training, combat, and life deep behind enemy lines. I could have done the whole show on that easily, but we did hit a little news. The staggering toll of Hurricane Harvey, Trump and DACA, John's fitness tips, and should pedophiles and chicken fuckers get out of jail if they agree to be castrated? Music: Credence Clearwater Revival/"Fortunate Son"
