PLEASE LIKE & SHARE! :) This Podcast had been planned for ages, but Sade Rush only founded it in October 2011, in iTunes. It followed by extensive organizing work. First it came out with own mixes, since it have been coming out 2-times in a month with own and famous dj's mixes too from all over the world, containing fresh techno music, like the Australian DJ HI-Shock, the English Tom Laws, the American Dylan Drazen, and the Hungarian GabeeN and Monocraft's mixes. The aim of this Podcast is to show something new and fresh 2-times in a month, sometimes returning to the roots, reminding us this way for the beauty of Techno music. The Podcast was very successful, and it became accessible on www.technoradio.hu (unfortunately this radio ends) too, near iTunes. In February 2012 The Podcast moved to the Hungarian Techno lover’s site www.techno.hu, next to famous radio shows like Umek's Behind the Iron Curtain, Marco Bailey's Electronic Force, Alex Bau's Wasabi Tunes, Tom Hades' Rhythm Convertered, Dr. Hoffmann's Blind Spot, Chris Liebing's CLR and Mike Humphries' Mastertraxx. At the same month, the past shows became available on Mixcloud too, spreading the love of techno, but the most important thing is the NVT Podcast can give us hope, that it can able to rouse the Hungarian Techno scene.

Rank #3: Stanny Franssen [BEL] - NightVision Techno PODCAST 25 pt4 1st anniversary

Stanny Franssen (BEL) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 25 Pt. 4

Bio:
Stanny was born on the first of November 1973 in Tongeren, and grew up in the tranquil countryside nearby. At the age of 12 he moved back to the city of Tongeren. As a single child he quickly learned to be independent, with scale models taking up much of his time and attention, but all that soon changed as music grew to become his biggest love. Thanks to the influence of his friends he became infactuated with electronic body music and new wave, both styles already drawing greatly from Eighties electronica (such as Front 242 and Nitzer EBB). The ‘Krapuul Deluxe’ radio show hosted by Luc Janssen on the Dutch station VPRO provided a further source of inspiration. The early Underground Resistance tracks that were programmed on the show were a revelation, helping him to develop a serious taste for Detroit techno.Around the age of 16 Stanny played his first party, mixing mainly acid techno sounds from influential imprints such as UR and +8. Infected by the electronic music virus he started even buying more records and frequently began thinking about making music for himself. In order to start producing his own tracks he took on weekend employment as a waiter in a club. With the money he earned from this job he then bought his first components of studio kit.Following a period of experimentation and familiarisation with his equipment he sent out a number of demotapes to record companies. Big Time International, a record firm in Ghent, expressed great interest. The tracks needed a finishing touch, encouraging Stanny into the studio with Bart Grinnaert and Laos Mezarros. The project ‘Propionic’ on Reload was born, resulting in three subsequent releases : ‘XY Desolvation’ , ‘Immunochemical Epoxy’ and ‘Back-Feed’.Stanny invested further in equipment, driven by a desire to make tracks without the aid of others. A year of immersing himself in his new studio kit resulted in a few fresh tracks he was most satisfied with, and again Reload was happy to release them : Cronical Re-Form was born. Stanny was greatly encouraged by the response his music was now receiving, and embarked on a more intense phase of producing. Zzino, the former label manager of Reload, could not release all the tracks, leading to a new alliance with KK, who were more than eager to release Stanny’s material under the name ‘G F’. Under this guise Stanny unleashed two full albums : ‘Electronic Lesson 1’ & ‘EL2’, both receiving critical acclaim both in the international dance press and among his colleagues. Sven Vath took greatly to Stanny’s work, playing his ‘Obsession For The Unknow ep’ during his ultrashort set at the Siegesaule during Love Parade ’98, whilst ‘Electronic Lesson 1’ even reached the number one spot in Sven Vath’s chart. After such high exposure many others soon picked up on his unique skills, widening the road for the new contacts and deals followed. ‘Mystic Shape’ became Stanny’s moniker on the UK’s popular Primate imprint, and it was this release that triggered a profusion of international bookings. During one trip abroad he met the much revered Italian producer Marco Carola and the two instantly connected. Marco asked him to do some tracks resulting in ‘The Fifth Galaxy ep’ on both Zenit and Ante Zenit (Ltd).Gaetano Parisio (aka Gaetek) got on the phone to Stanny soon after hearing his material over at Carola’s house. Subsequently the ‘Between The Lines ep’ came out on Conform at the end of 1998. Another massive release followed on the Intense label. The French imprint Kobayashi showed interest also, arranging the release of the ‘Oxidation ep’ (not forgetting the forthcoming ‘Calibration ep’ in September 2000). Releases then followed on Zync, Skunkwork, Molecular and Countdown 2000 (May), together with another release on Primate.)Stanny naturally started thinking about a label project of his own. In August 1999 plans were drawn out for GENETIC RECORDS, This year the label will reach it’s 20th release. People like Umek, Danillo Vigorito, Rino Cerrone, Manu Kenton, Davide Squillace, Boriqa Tribez and Stanny himself made this possible.Around 2002 Stanny started to work more together with other artists, The first collaboration was together with Patrick Lindsey, resulting in “Bad Pimps”. Signed on Monika Kruse’s label they bring us a good combination between old skool funk and pumping techno beats. The Second one he started with DJ Lowdown (aka Franssen vs Lowdown) and they got signed on the Intec label from Carl Cox and Dave Angels label Rotation bringing us more filtered techno tracks with housy influences.Despite such a productive release schedule Stanny still finds time to accept some of the numerous remix requests he receives. Henrik B, Johan Bacto, Samuel L Session, Chris Liebing, Monika Kruse and Misstress Barbara are among the many distinguished producers who have come knocking on his door with remix requests.

GabeeN (HU) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 55 Pt. 2

Bio:
GABEEN[Gábor Bacsárdi] was born on the 13th of July in 1988 in Szekesfehervar, Hungary. He has actually never learnt playing on any ins t rume nt .Back in a few years, regarding music, his biggest influence was his brother /Xilinox aka The Bee/, because of him, he had to keep follow up on the yearly evented Mayday andLoveparade videos. Keep sneaking on his brother he`s learnt the basics of how to produce music. As his sound wasn`t the most proper in the beginning, he only presented his tunesto his friends, but in 2005 he started to care about it more seriously. It has taken quite a while to be able to find his own style, therefore at the very beginning he started with hard techno. His first official release came out on a Hengarian label so called Survival Records which unfortunatelly does not exist by now, than his next release followed on Audio Exit Records which can still be proud of thier nowadays activities. after his first successes in Hungary, he`s tried to focus his attention over the boarder in order to make his name more remarkable. From the year of 2009, he simultaneously getting requests for albums and remixes. His most recent tracks already appeared on Blind Spot Music/UK/,Plastiq /DE/,Inmaterial Audio /ESP/Ketra/IT/,Naked Lunch/POR/We Call it Hard/DE/,Heaven to Hell/DE/,Gobsmacked/DE/,Inmaterial audio/ESP/ just to mention a few of them. Some more informations about him and all of his releses so far, can be found over here: http://www.beatport.com/#artist/gabeen/98167 In the summer of 2010, one of GabeeN`s tune was played by famous Dave Clarke on White Noise radio show. Ever since Gabeen was played by Dave many times. Same year in corporation with his friend, Calman, they created the legendary party athem with the title of Showdown. This tune of theirs has made it`s way right on the toplist of an online records store, beside names like Carl Craig,Marcel Dettmann,Lucy,Robert Hood,Alan Fitzpatrik...in 2010, Gabben met Dr. Hoffmann (BLIND SPOT) and made their first collaboration track, furthermore they carried on working together. In january 2011, with his friend`s, Tosi`s help, Gabeen had a chance to run his own radio show on Fnoob radio which he named as "The Gates of Hell". On his show, there has already been some big names played, such as: Kuniaki Takenaga,Patrik DSP,Oliver Kucera,Sceptical C,Marco Bailey...in fabruary, 2011 Gabeen was invited to a club in his hometown and taken opportunity to play after Takaaki Itoh, to present himself with an hour liveset mash towards the public. He already had gigs in clubs and radios in Budapest / Durer- kert,Kashmir,Blog, Tilos Rádió/ and also in Dunaujvaros at Synopsis parties. In his hometown, Szekesfehervar he quite often peformes with his brother(Bacsardi Brothers formation) on smaller festivals like TechnOpen and Showdown parties and Time Machine /Alba Bar/. Abroad-wise, not so long ago, he had a chance to perfom on a Techno Beaty party in Prague,Subland in Berlin,Club Finca in Stuttgart. MiniCoolBoyz (ITA) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 63 Pt. 3

Bio:
Born in 1984, Michele and Raffaele discovered electronic music in the year 2000.
Soon after, they began following the Italian nightlife and attending the most important european festivals such as “I Love Techno” in Belgium and “Timewarp” in Germany. During those trips abroad they discovered the magical feeling between Djs and their crowds.
Growing up, they started to open up to new sounds, especially the ones created by techno guru Richie Hawtin, aka Plastikman. Michele and Raffaele radically changed their musical tastes: their current style is minimal techno with detroit and tech-house influences. Thanks to their skills and love for music, Michele and Raffaele went on to play at several important clubs in Italy.
Michele and Raffaele play their sets with a mix of both traditional and new hardwares, achieving the best sound possible: a drum machine, FX and Traktor Scratch technology, creating a perfect mix between a classical Dj set and a computer-based Live Set.
In 2006 a new project came to life: MINICOOLBOYZ Michele and Raffaele began playing back2back, trying to find out new sounds and styles ranging form acid sounds and the hardest grooves. Their career started in various italian clubs and their first tracks immediately received great feedbacks from Italian and international Dj’s, charting at the top of Beatport’s Chart.
In October 2008, Richie Hawtin chose one of their remix for his compilation CD “Sounds from Can Elles”, available worldwide with DJ Mag and later released on his Label “Minus” (www.m-nus.com/can_elles): “Varese ist leer” is one of the highlights of the album, its sales peaking on charts all over the world and remaining in the Top Ten most requested Techno songs for a long time.
2009 was a landmark year for MiniCoolBoyz: all the top djs of the techno and tech house world play their tracks, most notably Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Joris Voorn and many others. Beatport brands them “Richie Hawtin’s Prodigies” (www.beatportal.com/feed/item/meet-can-elles-producers-richie-hawtins-prodigies/)
Dubfire calls them: “The future stars of electronic music!” and signs two of their tracks to his label Sci+Tec Digital Audio (www.beatportal.com/feed/item/future-stars-of-electronic-music/).
Releases followed on acclaimed labels such as SCI+TEC Digital Audio, Saved Records, Octopus, Bitten, Terminal M, Kling Klong, Great Stuff, MBF and many more, and gigs were booked at some of the most important clubs in Europe and festivals such as Watergate, Weekend, Heineken Balaton Sound, Igloofest, Electrovenice. MINICOOLBOYZ are currently focusing on a vinyl only special project called Triptych, and an ep is set to be released on Carl Cox’s Intec Digital imprint.

Jerome Sydenham (NGR) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 28 in Flight Techno MIx Pt. 3

Bio:
Few traveling producer/DJs measure up to the legacy of Ibadan Records’ Jerome Sydenham. Nothing short of a modern music visionary who cut his teeth as an A&R rep for Atlantic Records during the peak of the 90s New York house era. Now residing in Berlin, he’s still at the cutting edge of dance music; pioneering it through its various mutations over the years.

Jerome’s illustrious music career took off in the early nineties as part of an A&R team that launched the careers of legendary vocal house group Ten City, as well as pioneering house producers like Kerri Chandler, Pal Joey and Murk.

His own imprint – Ibadan Records – started its journey in 1996 with a string of house music classics, including the hit rework of Nina Simone’s “See Line Woman”, produced in collaboration with long-term friend Kerri Chandler. His album Saturday – co-produced with Kerri – clearly displayed his production range and musical ability as deftly displayed on tracks like “Rising The Sun”. A timeless recording capable of working even the most finicky of dancefloors into a frenzy.

By 2002, Sydenham started to move away from the sound of New York that was his roots. While vocal and afro-house prevailed in New York house clubs, Sydenham chose to represent a new era in melodic tech-house and launched his 10” Beats series. With releases like the crossover deep tech-house record “Timbuktu” and the mammoth “Sandcastles” – co-produced with Dennis Ferrer – the label marked a major turning point in the global house scene.

2006 finally saw Jerome leave New York behind for the European shores of the Danish capitol, Denmark. There he launched Avocado Records with Danish producer, Rune. Shortly thereafter he founded Apotek Records, a platform for his growing passion for techno. A move to Berlin in 2007, found Sydenham in the heart of a vibrant techno community and it was here that a musical resurrection occurred. Ostgut Ton enlisted his remix services for Len Faki’s “Rainbow Delta”, resulting in a bona fide throbbing, techno classic. Not long afterwards his “Elephant” collaboration with Danish producer Rune on Apotek rocked throughout the house and techno worlds.

Riding this wave of momentum Jerome continued to craft a series of splendid remixes such as Carl Craig’s “Angel” on Planet E, Adam Beyer & Joel Mull “Forming Dies” on Drumcode, and another for Planetary Assault Systems “GT” (Function & Jerome Sydenham Remix) on Mote Evolver.

Even with all this success in techno, Jerome never forgot his roots, as represented by his Kerri Chandler-esque Flora Cruz hit remix in 2009. Ravenously licensed to house compilations across multiple territories.

Collaboratively, he’s been as active as ever, recently remixing Dennis Ferrer’s “The Red Room” with The Martinez Brothers on Ferrer’s Objektivity. Ibadan’s 100th release “White Light” co-produced with another NYC techno veteran – Function – has been one of the labels most sought after contemporary release. The duo also teamed up to remix “Two Ninety-One” on Chris Leibing’s CLR label.

Most recently he has put his stellar A&R touch to Greek producer Argy’s full-length album “Fundamentals”, which saw the light of day on Ibadan Records last Autumn to critical acclaim. Currently, he’s developing a new Berlin based Greek artist called Quell. His touring schedule hasn’t let up, including regular appearances at Berlin’s famed Berghain and Panorama Bar, which has recently hosted an Ibadan Records showcase.

One would think that there are more hours in Jerome Sydenham’s day, as with all this going, he’s still found time to produce an album. ‘Animal Social Club‘, will be dropping this fall on Ibadan Records. Further releases and remixes including a rework for Ben Sims on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and the second Nagano Kitchen album coming out the end of 2012

Some names, a few face and the places have changed, but Jerome Sydenham is still doing what he does best: Quality music.

Filterheadz (BEL) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 33 Pt. 2

Bio:
Filterheadz are best known for their smash techno hits Sunshine & Yimanya as well as their highly energetic DJ performances.

It all started somewhere in the 80’s when brothers Bert & Maarten Wilmaers picked up their first musical instruments. Bert on guitar & Maarten on drums. Influenced by The Police, U2 & Simple Minds they took their first steps on the way to Rock ‘n Roll stardom....

Well not exactly. After a decade of hammering away in rehearsal rooms and local stages their dream to become rockstars took a surprising twist. Almost by accident they discovered the groovy rhythms of US House Music, influenced by Roger Sanchez, Masters At Work & David Morales the boys started experimenting with loops and disco samples. Their very first US style house tracks saw the light.

Armed with those tracks, the boys approached Belgian record company Headroom Music who saw the potential and took them under their wings. After a few releases under several monikers, they decided to go with ‘Filterheadz’, with the idea of releasing some more ‘Filter Disco’ records…things turned out slightly different.

Two things happened almost simultaneously. First there was their remix of Minimalistix 'Struggle for Pleasure' that turned out to be an instant classic in the progressive house scene. Prolific labels like Hooj Choons, Platipus, Bedrock, Yoshitoshi and Renaissance stood in line to call upon their remix skills.

The second, and most important thing: They discovered Techno.

Together with Belgian DJ Tomaz they embarked on a Techno Journey that would eventually lead them to Carl Cox’ Intec where they released their all time classic “Sunshine”. Two years later they would take their signature sound even further and release “Yimanya”, another big hit.

In the mean time extensive tours took Filterheadz to every corner of the globe and placed them high on the bill of events like I love Techno, Dance Valley & Tomorrowland and headlining clubs like Zouk, Womb, Ministry of Sound, Fabrik (Madrid) and so on.

Their remix engine kept running full steam: Green Velvet ‘La La Land’, Eddie Amador ‘House Music’, Delirium ‘Silence’, Faithless ‘I want more’ and Eric Prydz ‘Call on me’ just to name a few. Further releases like Cartagena & Endless Summer showcased their unique blend of techno beats and melodies.

The balance started to shift, less Techno & more melodic. Although tracks like “Day at the beach” & “Everything explained” on Sander Van Doorn’s label proved to be successful, clearly something was missing...

Looking back at their history and inspired by their heroes Marco Bailey & Carl Cox they decided it was time for a change.

The Phoenix rises from the ashes. 2012 not only marks the 10th anniversary of Sunshine and a release of a smashing remix package on 1605. It also marks the return to techno. With a string of new releases on MB Elektronics, Intec, 1605, Respekt & Toolroom.

Filterheadz are once again ready to rock dance floors all over the world.

Tom Hades (BEL) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 73 pt.2

3RD ANNIVERSARY!

Bio:
Tom Hades started to discover and experiment with electronic music when listening to DAF, Kraftwerk, Front 242, ... At the age of 15, he bought his first keyboard, the famous Casio CZ-101 and transformed his game-computer, Amiga 500, into his first DAW. Quickly he got experienced with MIDI-integration and sampling functions, which gave him even more urge for buying/selling new material as addition to his current setup. During the same period, his old schoolfriend, RedHead, was co-producing with Marco Bailey. He got in contact with Marco too which led them in 2000 to their first co-release. And this was the start of a big period of releases, included the anthem of "I Love Techno" in 2001. Have a look at the discography for the complete overview ... In the same year as I Love Techno, Tom started to do live performances. He got more & more experienced and started to play all over the world. His live performance was fully appreciated in countries like Spain, Colombia, Brazil, France, Poland, Sweden, Mexico, Japan, Austria, Italy, Norway, Ireland, ... and on many known festivals like Nature One, I Love Techno, City Parade, ... In the first period of 2002, Tom also produced his first solo release. In the next 3-4 years he continued to produce tracks on his own as well as his co-production with Marco on respected labels like MB Elektronics, Pornographic Recordings, Rhythm Convert, Northwest Dynamics, Invasion, Fine Audio, Patterns, Lupp, ... In 2004, they decided it was time to take the next step, start a label. And so Rhythm Convert was born. Initially, the purpose of the label was to give an opportunity to new talents to release their stuff. Guys like Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Veztax, ... did a very good job to show the people what is was all about. Nowadays, the label is more aimed to produce electro-techno tracks and less oriented towards loopy techno sounds. End 2004, they released their full album, Rude Boy, caused a stirr all over the world. The best proof was their live performance during Nature One @ Pydna were they literally "blew the place to kingdom come" ! His current releases on labels like MB Elektronics & Rhythm Convert are oriented in the same way his musical taste changes, more melodic and even sometimes more dramatic music with flavors of techno, minimal, tekhouse and electro. Nowadays, Tom is busy at concentrating in his next step, to develop his "dj-career". In the near future, you can expect dj-sets with dedication and filled with energy, as known from his live-sets, to give his fans the pleasure of clubbing ! But as every self-respected artist, he will never forget his roots, so live-sets will still be part of his main occupation ! In the means of productions, future releases will certainly be done, as well as a second album together with Marco. So keep your eyes open on some new productions, because they will certainly surprise lots of people !!!

Drumcomplex (DE) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 81 pt.2

Bio:
Work-sharing is not uncommon with Techno duos. On the contrary, it is the rule rather than the exception. On the Techno scene this is only natural. One of the counterparts, with the right training, focuses on the professional record production output, while the extroverted one faces the raised fists of cheering fans on weekends and tries to relax with some quiet time on weekdays. Arnd Reichow, part of the duo Drumcomplex, has been an example of the second type all his life. Daniel, who holds a degree in sound engineering and who is also Arnd's brother, is an important support - privately as well as professionally. There could hardly be a better way to complement one another.
Who has not at some point asked the question "How complex can Techno be?"As far as Drumcomplex is concerned, the answer must be: Techno can reach a degree of complexity that gets the utmost out of studio work and live performances through a perfect division of work – and has been doing so for the past ten years and more. This is also reflected in the discography: These two cover a range of prestigious Techno and TechHouse labels that would have others drooling: MB Elektronics, Phobiq, Different is Different Records, Toolroom Records, Railyard Recordings, Resopal Schallware, Definition Records, SK Supreme Records, Techno League Rec, K:lender. Firing on all cylinders, and an emphatically recommended sound system since 2003 is the upshot of all the hard work in the studio which has earned the label mass movement phenomenon over many years.

And what about out there, in front of the crowds? This will raise a smile on the face of anyone who has ever seen Arnd perform in front of a crowd. And why? Because one might well ask the question how, after 20 years of DJing, someone can be so light-hearted and level-headed in their approach at the same time. Maybe it is just that magical spark from the first hour of Techno's unspoiled core that flares up at each of his sets, and always illumines the crowd a little bit as well. All that acting up around the DJ booth is certainly not for him. Arnd is the DJ who does not disappear backstage to sip champagne when he is done; he is the fan who celebrates the records of the next act together with the rest of the crowd. It is this open and honest style that brings this "Drumcomplex" to people in such a simple manner, so that no one in the crowd is able to resist its almost childlike charisma. A spark of harmony that would be nice to see more frequently on the scene again.

Damon Wild (PL) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 59 Pt. 2

Bio:
Damon Wild’s musical career started off as a DJ playing a range of musical styles from Kraftwerk / Cabaret Voltaire / New Order to early acid house on his home town radio WTUL in New Orleans. It was in 1990 when he moved to NYC to become a key player in the underground techno scene. While working at local record stores, Sonic Groove & Vinylmania, Damon released his first EP “Unleash the Groove” on the legendary Strictly Rhythm stamp. After several releases on various labels, Damon built his name as a producer of hard, dark acid and synth-fuelled techno stompers. As Experimental (EX) was being set up as his first record label in 1992, Damon hit it big with the rave anthem “Rave Generator” under the group name Toxic Two. The tune reached the top ten in the UK charts and was his biggest commercial success.
Even though Experimental records were relatively short lived, it was crucial in showcasing the talents of artists like Freddie Fresh, Tim Taylor and Woody McBride. It was then that Damon set up his second label, Synewave, and he still continues to run it and record for it successfully. On Synewave, Damon released some of his biggest underground tunes, such as “Bang the Acid” and “Afghan Acid”, both recorded with UK’s Tim Taylor. At the same time he was signing other producers to the label: Woody McBride, Freddy Fresh, Mark Bell (LFO), Joey Beltram, Heiko Laux, Steve Stoll, to name a few.
In 1988, Damon released his first full length album “New Electronica” under the alias Morph (produced with Dennis Ferrer). Damon was also heavily producing solid minimal productions such as “Avion” and his Subtractive Synthesis series.
After more than 15 years dj’ing and producing in the USA, Damon decided to move to Europe in 2001, where he released his second full album “Color Theory” for the Belgian based Music Man stamp. With some EP’s in between, 2004 witnessed his third full album “Downtown Worlds” on the German Kanzleramt stamp. With releases on all these labels (Code Red, Strictly Rhythm, Buzz, Reload, Music Man, Kanzleramt, Synewave, ?!) Damon Wild keeps crossing the globe for new inspiration.
Damon Wild is well known for his experienced dj style ranging from underground acid, classic techno, pumping minimal to the latest in new electronic sounds from around the globe. His top priority is to balance between his likings and that of the crowd to create a special techno experience.
