This is it! After waiting years to prepare we finally did a full review of the 2005 Dukes of Hazzard movie. This was a $50Million dollar big screen production of our favorite TV show, featuring our favorite car doing the best big screen performance any car has ever performed, ever (we're looking your way, Bullitt). Other than the car.....this isn't the TV series Dukes that you know. Boss Hogg (played by Burt Reynolds) is skinny. Rosco is mean, not goofy. Bo is scared of women. Luke can't drive. Uncle Jesse is crass. But....if you can get past all of that and leave it for what it is, we loved it. Our man Corndog was onsite for the entire filming of the movie in Louisiana and had the full skinny on every car there that played the General Lee (all 27 of them).

Get Hour 2 of this Show: Available on Patreon! As announced previously, not only is a monthly prize giveaway now part of what we do for all Patrons - but we're going to start added in a "second hour" of select shows for them as well! This is our very first Hour 2 show!

Listen in to hear Corndog give a breakdown on the filming locations as well as ALL 27 GENERAL LEE's used in the Dukes of Hazzard movie. He was there, he knows where the bodies are buried, and he delivered the goods!

Rank #4: K&F Show #129: The 2019 Thanksgiving Show Part 1 – Planes, Trains and Automobiles!

This episode is presented by returning sponsors Holley, Aluma Trailers, and Wyotech! For the love of Thanksgiving leftovers, please reach out to them and thank them for sponsoring the show. Even if you buy nothing, tell them how much you appreciate it. Companies like these are taking a gamble that shows like ours - and audiences like you - are worth the return. We know you are....but any reminder you can give them would be so very appreciated. You rock!

Movie Review: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!

So here's the thing - when it comes to a Thanksgiving themed highly quotable slapstick-yet-tearjerker movie to review there's really only one that is worthy of doing so for: Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Let's admit it - John Hughes plus Steve Martin plus John Candy equals perfection. And yes, before you even say it, we have reviewed this movie years before with Finnegan (Episode 51) in fact. And yes...it was so funny then that, like this movie, it's worth a repeat of because it's as timeless as it gets....plus the re-enactment of the "you play with your balls" scene was pretty epic!

Better yet....the entire second hour on Patreon (www.patreon.com/kfshow) does a deeper dive on the car, the quotes, the unaired plot points that explained so much more, and another movie re-enactment of the most famous scene in the movie. You know the one....those aren't pillows!

Kick back and enjoy - and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Patreon Peeps, good news good news! First up ,the full second hour of this show is available to you in Patreon right now! Visit http:\\www.warrencustoms.com and tune in as soon as you wrap this one out.

All sales go to help the show of course, are hand crafted by Nathan Warren himself, are full size, and - best of all - are hand painted in real 1975 Code 70 "General Lee" Corvette Flame Red with our logo and the "01" under a clear coat! Hey hey! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the Patreon support! We are sending out the first Q&A email tomorrow for the special Patreon edition of the show. Slowly but surely, between Patreon, ads, and old Chargers we're getting this sucker figured out. Want to get in on it? You can find it at https://www.patreon.com/kfshow!

Well, this is the episode where we never actually got to the Dukes review. Or the movie review. Or the anything review, other than a brief description of the awesome new "Cobra Kai" series on YouTube Red. Why? Because this is the episode where we did the full dig on the resurrection of Finnegan's '68 Charger! If you'll recall, a K&F listener sent me the car on eBay, I sent it to Mike, Mike bought it later that night, my buddy Rodney and I picked it up in Minnesota and then met Mike and his dad with it in Tennessee, and just last week he, Tony Angelo, Daniel Boshears, and a slew of the faithful put Humpty Dumpty back together again to return it to visit it's original builder, Joe Berry. The problem was, it wasn't exactly a bone stock '68 Charger to start with. It was a race car built in 1970 by a farmer, it never turned a lap, and every home brewed trick in the books was used to get it NASCAR legal for an era that still allowed drivers to smoke cigarettes while racing. Listen in to hear Finnegan relive a week of 16 hours days to get the car back on the road - and back to Joe Berry. And if you prefer our standard banter/Hollywood format, not to worry; we'll be back at it next week!

MeUndies is also back to sponsor this episode...and just in comfort ball cuddling time! To get your 20% off of your first order of MeUndies, Free Shipping AND their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and get the best and softest underwear you will ever own, go to http://www.MeUndies.com/kafs. Trust us. Get the ones with the crotch pouch.

Follically challenged friends, today is the day you've been waiting for. While Finnegan's melon is flush with plush, the majority of the rest of us have experienced (or will experience) hair loss as we get older. And as much as we hate admitting that it bothers us, it still does. So...we're happy to announce that Keeps has joined on to sponsor a portion of today's episode, and even happier that they have a 100% online and low cost method to make things get fuzzy again. Stop hair loss today the easy way with Keeps, offering customized treatment plans with only FDA approved hair loss products for about $1 a day, from the comfort of your couch. To receive your first month of treatment for free, go to Keeps.com/KAFS!

And finally, Stamps.com is back in this episode as a show sponsor! For those of who like to sell parts online (especially eBay), this will be right up your alley of time saving awesomeness. Finnegan returns....again. Yes, we still love Finnegan. Yes, we talk often. Yes, he's still basically Andy Dwyer from the TV show Parks and Rec. Listen in for an update on Mike's life, car projects, and ability to appreciate "dad jokes" on the new Avengers movie!

So, big news! In this episode you get to hear from not one, but TWO unbelievable Dukes of Hazzard stunt performing super-heroes. We just interviewed Jack Gill himself - the man that went through the barn on the Dukes and was the guinea-pig of the jump vest. That vest is what stopped people from breaking their backs and is still in use today! Jack worked on the DUkes, Knight Rider, Fast and Furious, and is a wealth of knowledge. The edited interview will release next week but a sneak peek is here for you now. The FULL intervew is already out for our Patreon supporters! Details below for that. Following Jack, listen in to a past interview I (Rob) did with Corey Eubanks in 2011. It's pretty eye opening to the life and times of what he did back in the day. Enjoy!

Dukes Review: Ah, the repeating tale of a foxy co-ed trying to make her way through the south by selling t-shirts to raise money for her nursing school tuition. It's a tale as old as time. Throw in a car jump here and there, a motocross, and a motorcycle chop-shop and it makes for a very entertaining Dukes episode. The foxy chick, who we'll refer to as Starbuck's girlfriend for now, witnesses Boss Hogg's scheme of stealing, repainting, and re-selling motorcycles. The Dukes accidentally rescue her, and then purposefully help her prove her innocence using a serious stash of red form fitting t-shirts, 2-stroke dirt bikes, and a legitimate amount of tomfoolery. And the General Lee does something too. You'll mostly be distracted by the t-shirts in this one.

One last thing. The summer season is coming to a close...and that means that it's even more important than ever to get a t-shirt on your back to enjoy the summer sun while you can! To get a shirt just go to http://www.kfshowshirts.com. We'll be adding in stickers, decals, and other cool stuff in the future too. Want different colors? Let us know!

Finnegan's Return! Guess who's back to stay? Well.....nobody, but I did ask Mike back on to visit for Show #100 - and he regaled in the full story of his win against Hoonigan's own Jon Chase at the NHRA Winter Nationals. And then I made he and Corndog play a somewhat inappropriate game of who has made out at the Top 10 Most Common make-out-session locations. It'll make more sense when you hear it. It's Valentine's week, right?

Feature Interview: Byron Cherry - Coy Duke! We had the great opportunity to interview Byron Cherry, the actor who portrayed Coy Duke for 19 episodes of The Dukes of Hazzard in Season 5 of the series! Many of us as fans of the show have heard the tales regarding the departure and return of John Schneider and Tom Wopat to the show, but the story for Byron Cherry (and his co-star Chris Mayer) is one that the full truth may not have been shared. Listen in to hear his story of getting the opportunity as a young actor to play a leading-man role on the biggest TV series in the world!

Hey hey! We went to the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour - Atlanta Stop! This episode regales the details of the trip, the cars, the fun, the lack of sleep, the sunburns, the Charger parts swapped a plenty, and chicken fingers eaten atop a (mostly) clean Waste Management trash can. It was a massive effort filled with silly old cars and truly outstanding friends. More of these to come. We even tagged a Dukes review in here - one of the "lost" first four episodes, Season 1, Episode 2 - Daisy's Song. They went to Atlanta in that one...and we were in Atlanta for the Power Tour...and we didn't have time to review a new episode...so problem solved. Enjoy!

This is it; the one where we learn why, when, and how the General Lee came to the Dukes! Even better - we get to see him be built from an old junkyard wreck (which was clearly a former jump car). Ironically, this is the Dukes of Hazzard episode that Finnegan and I to start our own podcast about the Dukes of Hazzard together...so it's fitting that we decided to end it here. Anyway, here's the gist of it; this entire episode is a trip down memory lane for the Duke clan as they throw a birthday party for the General Lee. Only the "date of birth" references the day the General himself was created by the Dukes, not the day the Charger rolled off of the Dodge assembly line. It's set 8 years in the past where Boss Hogg was skinny with hair, Rosco has a Burt Reynolds mustache, Daisy didn't work at the Boars Nest, and before Bo and Luke knew that cars could safely fly. And there are bad guys in it, one of which has been a different bad guy two different times in the past too. The biggest thing of all though is that prior to the Dukes, the General was just a soulless Charger. It wasn't until the Dukes found it - and vice versa - that all their lives changed for the better!

The all new Kibbe and Friends edition of the show - with Kibbe, Corndog, and Bernie will debut THIS MONTH! We have received more support from fans that we could have imagined! Show and Dukes Review: Finnegan is off on Roadkill, thus Corndog is back for another deep diving Corndog session of Hollywood Mopar laced brainwaves. This is followed by our Dukes review, and this episode fits your classic case of a Bugs Bunny doll filled with stolen diamonds that's dropped from an airplane, intended for bad guys, but intercepted by Bo and Luke. See? Classic. This results in the bad guy leader (who's actually a bad girl, not a guy) to fake being a moonshine biographical news reporter to trick Daisy into letting her into the Dukes home. And then Rosco makes a speed limit sign that is remote controlled. And then Waylon says that the bad-guy-leader-bad-girl should be spanked. They don't make 'em like the used to. 8 Corndogs!

Dukes Review: Bad Day in Hazzard
Believe it or not, but this is a legitimately good episode. It’s been a while, right? Even the General is acknowledged to have been damaged by smashing bad guys and is then repaired. It’s crazy town! Anyway, here’s the summary: bad guys come to Hazzard to pull of an “Oceans 11” style heist of an armored car delivering money to Boss Hogg’s bank. The Dukes later thwart the robbery. The end. Dang. Come to think of it, it’s hard to write up a compelling summary to this – but trust us – it’s good. Here’s a tidbit of info that was fun: Actor M.C. Gainey is in this episode as a background thug-bad-guy…which is not important at all…but that very same actor went on to portray Rosco P. Coltrane in the 2005 Dukes of Hazzard movie!

Again, this is your conscience speaking. Do what you know needs to be done. Visit http://www.patreon.com/kfshow and make some dreams come true. (Still your conscience.)

If you're thinking this is the one where Daisy falls in love, or that this is the one where the Dukes almost lose the farm, or whatever the third regularly used plot line is, you are in for a treat. This has none of those. And other than a sweet drift and a sickening crash into a tree it barely has any General Lee either. We didn't love it, so here's the summary. An old man that you've never seen before (or will again) gets fired by Boss Hogg,  one day shy of shy 30 years on the job. This makes him ineligible for his $30,000 pension. So, he robs the bank vault of the $30K. The Dukes put it back before Boss notices. The end.

Hey again, this is still your conscience. You considered it before, then paused. I know you, man. I can read you like a book. Go support those boys on Patreon and put me at ease! We'll both feel better. http://www.patreon.com/kfshow.

Dukes Review: Miss Tri Counties: The town of Hazzard hosts  a T&A beauty contest for women. By that I of course mean, Transmissions and Alternators. Seriously, the plot of this episode is a competition where the most impressive lady from each county competes by rebuilding carbs, racing cars, and then wearing swimsuits. It truly is heaven on earth. During the race Daisy takes the General from 3rd to 1st and just like the movie Ford vs Ferrari, during the race scene she stares down the bad guy (girl?) while passing her...which of course in real life would lead to an amazing accident. Bonus points for insanely awesome General Lee speed in this episode, in car footage of John Schneider really whipping 180's, and Tom Wopat climbing out the window of the General at full tilt. When Paul Baxley directs, great things happen!

This is it! After almost 3 years of the K&F show we are IMMENSELY proud to present our feature guest - Tom Wopat himself! Listen in to hear how we went from being a farm-kid in Wisconsin dreaming of playing for the Green Bay Packers, to being a lead on Broadway, becoming Luke Duke, and back to Broadway. There's something for everyone in here - and plenty of Dukes insight as well.

Be sure to follow Tom's schedule to see a live musical for celebrity appearance via www.TomWopat.com. Special thanks for the MuscleKingz and the GoodOlBoysTour for arranging this interview in celebration of 40 years of the Dukes of Hazzard!

Patreon Peeps, we're listening - and more exclusive stuff just for you will continue! Many of you reached out after hearing the Tom Wopat preview, so we will continue to do as much of that exclusive content as we can. Again, thank you so much to the multitude of you who have joined in, stepped up your pledge, and have (basically) made it known that you wanted us to keep going and growing. Plus, his birthday is coming up and we can all celebrate at Bo's Extravaganza with he, Tom Wopat, Kid Rock (really), legendary General Lee jumpers Jack Gill and John Cade, and many many more! Every now and then you have to take a break from the cars, smell the roses, and look around the real world to see what else is out there. In our case that means heading to funny movies from our childhood that we still quote daily. Since MLB Standings are just around the corner....that was the perfect excuse to review our favorite baseball movie ever made: Major League! Sit back and regale in Finnegan's 20-minute soliloquy on the movie complete with every favorite line including: "Up your butt, Jobu!" Bob Eucker was in prime form as the radio announcer, Charlie Sheen was at his best as the bad boy, and Tom Berenger was the ace aging catcher. You'll love it. We did. And if you don't love it....car stuff will be back next week anyway, baby!
