Love this podcast

I’ve been listening since episode 1 and have gained so much from listening to this podcast! I love hearing Stefani and Noelle’s updates every week, and sometimes will listen just to see what they are up to, even if the episode’s topics aren’t relevant to me, because they are just so much fun. I was so honored when they answered a question I submitted recently about hormonal acne postpartum. It was so helpful and felt so nice just to be heard and validated for once! These girls know their stuff, they are fun, honest, and real. Thanks Stefani and Noelle!!

Love how transparent and honest they are!

Nootropics are brain vitamins—sometimes also called smart vitamins—that help promote a whole bunch of good stuff like focus, cognition, and memory. Kimera calls it “coffee with cognitive enhancers.” The coffee is infused with 750mg of nootropics, specifically Alpha-GPC, which is a natural choline compound, Taurine, and L-Theanine, which is a non-dietary amino acid that is well know for promoting mental relaxation. It’s typically found in green tea and certain mushrooms. Some people supplement with it because it can help reduce anxiety. Kimera Koffee's nootropics come from organic compounds found naturally in food sources such as eggs and green tea.

Kimera Koffee chose these specific nootropics in order to create the right mental and physical edge. The coffee is great for athletes prior to workouts, and great for improving focus at home or at work. The beans are incredibly high quality and harvested from their high altitude farm in the Dominican Republic.

Joovv

This podcast is sponsored by Joov Red Light Therapy! Red light therapy is a simple, non-invasive treatment that delivers concentrated natural light to your skin and cells. Red light therapy is quick and easy: all you have to do is sit or stand in the light for 5 to 15 minutes, ideally every day. This gives the mitochondria in your cells the natural light they need to make the energy that powers your body.

By stimulating energy production in the body and improving mitochondrial function, studies show red light therapy reduces inflammation, it speeds up muscle recovery and aids in the healing of injury, and it can significantly improve sleep, circadian rhythms, and overall mood, including anxiety and depression.

Explore the Joovv red light therapy devices by going to joovv.com/wellfed. Joovv is third-party tested for safety and performance, and they have a modular design so you can start small and build from there. You will get a free gift and email us with your receipt at wellfedwomen@gmail.com to get a signed copy of Coconuts & Kettlebells the book.

BioOptimizers

This podcast is sponsored by BiOptimizers. Please refer back to episode #258 all about digestion for some more insight on how to resolve common digestive issues.

If you feel like you are doing all the right things yet you’re still struggling with digestive issues such as gas, bloating, or cramping—which are actually very common, nothing to be ashamed about—start with a high quality enzyme and try switching to a proteolytic probiotic.

If you’ve never tried enzymes before, or have and it didn’t work, I encourage you to give MassZymes a go. It is a full-spectrum enzyme formula with 5 different kinds of protease, which is the enzyme that is the catalyst for the breakout of protein. And undigested proteins can cause a lot of gut dysfunction. And then their Probiotic, P3-OM, is a proteolytic probiotic, which means it digests protein. It’s antiviral, it actually eliminates pathogens and waste… and is maintainable in the human digestive system. Once in your body, the P3-OM super strain doubles every 20 minutes, and helps get rid of the bad guys—before it is safely eliminated.

Give both MassZymes and P3-OM a go. So many individuals suffer from digestive issues—because any protein your body doesn’t break down creates digestive distress, gas, bloating and constipation. The combination of P3-OM and MassZymes ensures that all the protein you consume breaks down into absorbable amino acids.

#276: Why Blue Light is Disrupting Your Health & What to Do About It with Andy Mant

BLUblox

The podcast is sponsored by BLUblox. I have become so passionate about light optimization recently, and filtering out computer light and blue light entirely after the sun sets. I wasn’t doing anything about this until about a year ago, and I was experiencing eye strain, migraines, and an unexplained wired and tired feeling, especially at night. Now I wear BLUblox computer filter glasses anytime I’m looking at screens, and BLUblox sleep lenses at night, and I haven’t experienced symptoms since.

BLUblox was created because they saw the need for a product that was exactly in line with the peer reviewed academic literature. There are a lot of cheaply made lenses out there that don’t actually block all the blue and green light. Don’t waste your time on that, go to blublox.com/wellfed, and use the code WELLFED for 15% off.

Y'all I found a hand sanitizer that has absolutely no fragrance, no triclosan, no dyes—it is from Puracy, which is a company that produces safe and effective non toxic cleaning products. All of their products use natural and organic formulas. The soap is formulated by doctors, is entirely plant-derived, and contains no B.S. (bad stuff) like sulfates, parabens, harsh chemicals, and so on.

They have two types of sanitizers. One that is completely alcohol-free. The second one, they have just created this month and launched for the first time. It’s 70% alcohol, which is hospital-grade sanitizer softened with some plant-based moisturizers. Alcohol isn't something they usually ever put in their products, and their normal sanitizer is just as effective (and uses a FDA-approved germ killer), but they are responding to what the CDC is saying and trying to support essential workers.

Go to puracy.com/wellfed to get 10% off your entire order, you can order soap and sanitizer right there. You’ll get 10% off plus free shipping on orders of $35 or more.

Their animals are 100% pasture-raised, they live happy lives, completely outdoors, and every farm practices regenerative agriculture, which means they’re reducing carbon emissions, and replenishing the nutrients in the soil rather than depleting them. It’s truly incredible what they’re doing—they’re actually reversing a lot of the damage we’ve done to the environment with animals and with farming.

Grass Roots Coop is offering our listeners $40 OFF your first box, plus free shipping. You’ll find it at the link grassrootscoop.com/wellfed.

Puracy

Y'all I found a hand sanitizer that has absolutely no fragrance, no triclosan, no dyes—it is from Puracy, which is a company that produces safe and effective non toxic cleaning products.

Grass Roots

This podcast is sponsored by Grass Roots Farmers’ Cooperative. If you are at all concerned about your meat, where it comes from, it’s nutrient profile, or how it got to your plate, I really think you’re going to be blown away by Grass Roots Farmers’ Cooperative.

Get this—Basically, you can order meat directly from small scale family farms in the US that put a lot of attention into their production.

Love this podcast

By KimEddo - Apr 27 2020

I’ve been listening since episode 1 and have gained so much from listening to this podcast! I love hearing Stefani and Noelle’s updates every week, and sometimes will listen just to see what they are up to, even if the episode’s topics aren’t relevant to me, because they are just so much fun. I was so honored when they answered a question I submitted recently about hormonal acne postpartum. It was so helpful and felt so nice just to be heard and validated for once! These girls know their stuff, they are fun, honest, and real. Thanks Stefani and Noelle!!

Love how transparent and honest they are!
