From the Beginning of Creation

This is Ken Ham, coauthor of the eye-opening book on Noah’s flood, A Flood of Evidence.Sadly, many Christians today believe Darwin’s ideas about origins. But they don’t match with what the Old or New Testaments teach! For example, in Mark chapter ten, Jesus said, “But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.” Did you catch that: “from the beginning of creation”? Jesus specifically said that male and female—Adam and Eve—were created at the beginning of creation, not millions of years after the beginning. Now, evolutionists believe that humans didn’t evolve until very, very late in history. So for most of their history, humans didn’t exist. This is the exact opposite of what Jesus taught when he affirmed that Adam and Eve were created at the beginning of creation. Did God Use Evolution to Create Us?

This is Ken Ham, inviting you to visit our full-size Noah’s Ark in Northern Kentucky. In a recent video, famous Christian apologist William Lane Craig said Genesis was “mytho-history.” He said God created Adam and Eve from . . . yes . . . a group of “preexisting hominids.” But this doesn’t match with what Scripture teaches. You see, Genesis clearly teaches that God formed Adam from the dust of the ground not a preexisting hominid. And, after sin, God tells Adam that he was made from dust and to dust he would return. Adam didn’t return to an ape-like creature because he wasn’t taken from one. He returned to dust because he was taken from dust. And both the Old and New Testaments say Eve was created from Adam, not from an ape-woman. Dig Deeper William Lane Craig's Mytho-History vs. Historical Genesis From Dust to Dust

Descent of Man Replaced?

This is Ken Ham, and we’ve launched a video-streaming platform, Answers dot TV.This year marks the 150th anniversary of Darwin’s book on human evolution, Descent of Man. Now, sadly, many of his ideas were adopted by mainstream scientists and even many Christians. But these ideas contradict the Bible, so those who believe the Bible knew right away that Darwin was and is wrong! And science has confirmed it. For example, Darwin taught there are multiple races—some higher than others. But genetics has confirmed the biblical teaching that there’s only one race. But it’s not just that Darwin was wrong—he’s been replaced. Starting with God’s Word, creation scientists have made testable predictions—and they’ve been confirmed by observational science. Darwin—He Was Dead Wrong

This is Ken Ham, on a mission to call the church back to the authority of God’s Word.Who said he’d prefer to be descended from a “little monkey,” or an “old baboon,” than a “savage” from South America? You might be shocked to know it was Charles Darwin at the end of his book, Descent of Man. Now, Darwin’s book is shockingly racist. He believed there were different races, some more highly evolved than others. And his ideas caught on, fueling a specific kind of racism. Now, this idea of different races is not what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches we’re all descended from one man and one woman—we’re all one race and all made in the image of God. Now, it’s been one-hundred-and-fifty years since the Descent of Man. And science has shown Darwin’s wrong. There’s only one race! Dig Deeper Should We Cancel Darwin? A Sad Anniversary

This is Ken Ham, of Answers in Genesis, the Ark Encounter, and the Creation Museum. This year marks the one-hundred-and-fiftieth anniversary of Darwin’s book on human evolution, Descent of Man. Now, this book had a huge impact, and its effects are still being felt today. You see, we have to understand that evolution and millions of years are key parts of the pagan religion of our era. Darwin’s ideas gave people an excuse to reject God’s Word. And that worldview has been destructive to families, societies, and even churches. Sadly, much of the church adopted Darwin’s unbiblical ideas and then changed Scripture to fit with evolution. For them, the Bible isn’t actually the authority—man is. And that’s dangerous! Dinosaurs and Man?

This is Ken Ham, editor of the eye-opening book Glass House: Shattering the Myth of Evolution. This week we’ve been looking at dinosaurs through the lens of God’s Word. Now, when you start with the Bible’s history, dinosaurs and man lived with each other. But . . . is there any evidence of this? Yes, there is! As we show in the huge lobby of our Creation Museum, cultures all around the world have legends of dragons. These dragons sound a lot like . . . dinosaurs. How did dozens of cultures, isolated from one another until recently, all come up with legends of the same creatures . . . independently? And the various artwork makes them recognizable as sauropods, stegosauruses, or other dinosaurs. Dinosaurs didn’t die out millions of years ago. They lived with man until recently. What Happened to the Dinosaurs?

This is Ken Ham, author of the books, The Dinosaurs of Eden and Six Days and Church Compromise. All of the following have been suggested as answers to why the dinosaurs went extinct: an asteroid impact, overeating, starvation, indigestion, and climate change—and that’s just a few of the ideas! But the Bible gives us the proper framework for understanding their extinction. When the dinosaurs got off the ark after the global flood, they entered a very different world. It was filled with new challenges—including an ice age! And, of course, human hunting was likely a factor too, now that humans had been told they could eat meat. Dinosaurs went extinct for the same reasons creatures go extinct today—for example, changing environments, climates, and human hunting. Dig Deeper What Really Happened to the Dinosaurs? Dinosaurs … on Noah’s ark?

This is Ken Ham, of the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, with many dinosaur fossils and displays.Did you ever wonder if there were dinosaurs on the ark? Well, Genesis tells us that Noah took two of every kind of land-dwelling, air-breathing animal on the ark. Since dinosaurs meet the description, they must’ve come to Noah to go on the Ark. But how’d he fit them on? Well, the average dinosaur was only the size of a buffalo. We hear a lot about the big ones, but most were quite small. And, for the really big ones, Noah could’ve taken younger, smaller ones on the ark. They’d eat less, take up less space, and reproduce better after the flood. So it makes sense God would’ve sent juveniles to Noah. It’s no problem explaining dinosaurs on the ark! Dig Deeper Dinosaurs on the Ark Dinosaurs on the Ark: How It Was Possible

Dinosaurs—Originally Dangerous?

This is Ken Ham, and our 510-foot-long Noah’s Ark is open in Northern Kentucky.Yesterday we learned dinosaurs were created on the same day as Adam and Eve. Of course, this means dinosaurs and man once lived together. But wouldn’t fierce dinosaurs—like T. rex—have been a terror in the garden of Eden? Well, Genesis one tells us that—originally—God gave people and the animals the plants to eat, not animals. This means T. rex originally would’ve been snacking on fruits and plants. But wait—what about their huge teeth? Well, just because something has big teeth doesn’t mean it eats meat. Even today, fruit bats and pandas both have sharp teeth—but they eat fruit and bamboo. It wasn’t until after sin that creatures started eating meat. Dig Deeper A Vegetarian Dinosaur's Big Mouth Dinosaur Teeth Hold Clues to Whether Species Was Warm or Cold-Blooded

Dinosaurs—Where’d They Come from?

This is Ken Ham, publisher of the Answers apologetics magazine for the whole family.Where did dinosaurs come from? Many Christians struggle to answer this question. But it’s not a hard question if we use the Bible as our starting point. Let’s take a look. Genesis 1 says God created all the land animals on day six of creation week. Dinosaurs, by definition, are land animals, so they must’ve been created on day six. That’s the same day as Adam. Now, because of the detailed genealogies in Genesis, we know there were two thousand years from Adam to Abraham. And we know it’s been four thousand years since Abraham. So, dinosaurs were created around six thousand years ago, with the rest of creation. Dinosaurs are only a mystery if we ignore God’s Word. Dig Deeper Dinosaurs and the Bible When Did Dinosaurs Live?
