“Why can’t the Westworld hosts kill humans? What’s the deal with milk and flies? Is that Soundgarden in the background? Is Dr. Ford a robot? What the hell is going on in the Westworld series debut?

You’ve got Westworld questions, and we’ve got Westworld answers. Hosts Roger Roper and Dick Ebert saddle up with their new sidekick, Gene Lyons, to explore the vast Westworld frontiers in search of justice and the ultimate truth behind Delos Destinations’ corporate motives.

Westworld! Where the saloon girls are all 10’s and the rye whiskey is best served warm. For $40,000 a day, we can all immerse ourselves in the lawlessness of the Old West. Westworld asks, how each of us would indulge our otherwise unspeakable appetites for senseless violence and transgressive sex, without moral scruple or legal consequence. The series is remarkably stark in its depiction of the cruelty underlying these appetites. All but vanished are the “shoot-out with a bandito” type scenarios of the campy 1973 movie. Instead, tourist’s regales in watching their artificial victims wriggle in the throes of death, only to want a souvenir photograph to take home. “Now, that’s what I call a vacation!”

We couldn't agree on Dolores' Five Pearls, the Man in Black's post-credits scene, or where the hosts went. So we went to the source. Roger scours a Lisa Joy interview explaining "The Passenger" and quizzes Gene and Big D on what the heck we saw during the Season 2 finale.

Also, Gene issues a massive mea culpa for all the things he got wrong this season. Big D apologizes for his flubs. And Roger kinda sorta says he might maybe have gotten something possible wrong. But also maybe not.

Is the "real world" just a simulation? Is Francis a fidelity test? What's Incite up to, and why is Gene Lyons so happy? We answer these questions and more in Shat on TV's first "Westworld" Deep Dive of Season 3.

Episode 1, "Parce Domine" brought us a Bible lesson, a new face for artificial intelligence, a missing Delos board member, updated opening credits, and a frank examination of personal data.

Plus, Big D brings up "Robopocalypse" yet again; Gene laments freedom of choice, and Ashley talks opera.

Westworld Episode 1 Summary: "Parce Domine" Three months after the Westworld massacre, Dolores uses a false identity to get close to Liam Dempsey Jr., the son of the co-founder of Incite. Liam is the public face of the company and its flagship program Rehoboam, a sophisticated artificial intelligence, which Dolores is trying to gain access to. Liam knows little himself, but as he is about to reveal the name of one who knows, Dolores is knocked out by Martin, Liam's head of security who discovered Dolores' deception. Martin intends to kill Dolores, but she instead lures him into a trap, which allows her to replace Martin with a host of Martin to get that information. She is wounded in a firefight but rescued by Caleb, a former soldier that is trying to eke out an existence as a construction worker and petty criminal who had seen Martin try to kill her. Elsewhere, Bernard stays ahead of a manhunt for him and intends to travel to Westworld, while the Charlotte host takes control of Delos. Maeve wakes in a World War II-themed park with Nazis.

Not enough for you? We also have alleged confirmation of WHEN Westworld takes place and what Bernard's final talk with Dr. Ford really meant for the future of Hostkind.

Now all eyes are on showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy as they prepare to take us even deeper inside the maze. Here's everything we know about season two so far.

Shat on TV's coverage of Westworld Season 3, Episode 2: "The Winter Line" starts off intelligently with discussions of free will vs sentience, the nuance between hero and villain, and Ashley Schlafly's brilliant overview of Louis Althusser's views of subjection and the state.

Things take a turn as Dick Ebert unveils his latest treatise: "Rahobo, The God Humans Need," force-feeding Gene enough tinfoil to spark a Divergence.

Suddenly, it's Big D worshipping at the altar of Coconut Guy, Gene Lyons offering to kill Dick to save the world, Ashley classifying Serac's accoutrement as "Bond Villain," an extended team giggle-fest, and the Shat Boys getting way to specific about Westworld's timelines.

Westworld Episode 2 Summary: "The Winter Line"Bernard returns to Westworld and discovers the Ashley host is still functioning. With Ashley's help, they find the Maeve host, but it is lacking its "pearl" and that it is no longer in the park. Bernard uses the systems there to verify that Dolores had not contaminated his code, and discovers Dolores targeted several prior park guests including Liam. He reprograms Ashley to help protect him as they return to the mainland. Maeve is rescued from Warworld by Hector but realizes this is another narrative and kills herself to come to in Operations, discovering Lee is alive and wants to help get her to the Forge. However, Maeve soon realizes that this is all a virtual simulation, and after testing its bounds, is able to break her pearl free from its real-world location, but guards stop the attempt. She wakes in a real-world host body and meets Serac, who, after initially thinking she was the major disruption on the system he built, wants her help to stop Dolores.

Westworld Episode 6 Summary:Serac recovers Martin's pearl and places it in the Warworld simulation, while Maeve is also returned to the simulation to question Martin about Dolores' plans while a new body is made for her. Cherlotte tries to run with her son and ex-husband, but Serac has them killed with a car bomb; a disfigured Charlotte survives. Bernard and Ashley locate Serac's facility in Mexico, where they find William.

A spot of horror, a significant slice of backstory (hey, Arnold!) and a few choice Alice in Wonderland references helped make the third episode of HBO's Westworld the most satisfying yet. We’re three episodes in and the storylines of Westworld are denser than the layers of rock Mesa Hub is built into.

Rog and Big D attempt to unravel the mystery surrounding Dr. Ford's relationship with his old partner, Arnold, while avoiding falling into never-ending theory rabbit holes.

Gene didn't make it back from Los Angeles in time for the cast but will rejoin the Shat On TV posse for a new segment called the #WestworldTelegraph later this week.

Contrapasso is proportionate punishment for sins, and Westworld Episode 5 hinted at all the ways our favorite characters are about to pay for their transgressions. From Maeve's growing abilities to Dr. Ford's growing hubris to El Lazo's growing rebellion in Pariah, Westworld is heating up to an explosive boil.

Up for debate and discussion in this week's podcast: Are Dolores' hallucinations just new narratives being uploaded into her mind? Who is behind the Woodcutter's satellite uplink? Is Arnold a real person who created Dr. Ford, or the other way around? And is the maze just a call to arms for hosts ready to fight back?

Like a corpse full of nitroglycerin, Westworld is about to blow up. Let's share a toast and watch the fireworks.
