Rank #2: People Love Your Idea, But It Doesn't Make Money. Now What?.
People may like to shop for cars online, but they still want to test drive them in real life before buying. So when the online car sales company Shift launched, it created a system its founders were sure would win customers over: They hired “car enthusiasts” -- guys just really passionate about cars -- to drive a car to a customer so they could test drive it together. The car enthusiasts were a hit; people loved them, and praised them online. But Shift wasn’t celebrating: As it turns out, the car enthusiast program was so expensive to run that the company wasn’t actually making money. Ready to rock your life?
Rank #1: Drop Shipping.
My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is an man who has quite a journey to where he is today. Many moons ago, he purchased a website that sold various popcorn goods. During this venture, he found a need to automate parts of his business and that need inspired him to create Spark Shipping, a business that helps eCommerce retailers self-operate their connections with their vendors Currently he automates millions of orders for eCommerce and retail entrepreneurs every month, which is enough orders to fill every seat in Fenway Park hundreds of times. Or, as as our guest would say, Fenway “Pahhk.” Or as me and most people from the UK would say....nope, never heard of Fenway Park Anyway what Spark Shipping does is to automate the communications between e-Commerce sites and vendors (warehouses, distributors, manufacturers, etc). The communications that are automated are: getting inventory quantities from vendors, sending orders to vendors and getting tracking/shipment data back from vendors. Spark Shipping sits between the shopping cart and vendors to get the data back and forth between them. So its alright having these ideas of "Wouldn't it be good if we could do xyz" but how do you get this off the ground? And was it plain sailing or a rollercoaster that gradually hit its stride? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Charles Palleschi Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Charles Palleschi such as: Why he feels its so important to understand all aspects of a business when you are the leader, to ensure consistency and productivity throughout. How he manages to balance home life and work life, especially now he has young children who want to see their Dad before bedtime each day. What he does to manage the difficult times in his business, when decisions need to be made that will lead into unchartered territories. and lastly…. The first steps he took to became the entrepreneur he is today, and what he would advise anyone of our listeners wanting to do the same.
Rank #2: Branding.
Branding Expert Pia Silva Reveals The Big Mistakes Of Branding Your Biz My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is an Entrepreneur, speaker and writer, and also a partner and brand strategist at Worstofall Design where they build "Badass Brands without the BS" for 1-3 person service businesses in 1-3 day intensives. She is a Forbes contributor and has spoken at a host of entrepreneurial organizations including Goldman Sach's 10,000 Small Businesses and the Million Dollar Women’s Summit and has been featured on MSNBC’s Your Business. Her company was named top "10 Design Firms Lead By Young People That Are Changing the Way We Look at the World" by Complex, and her book Badass Your Brand: Impatient Entrepreneur’s Guide to Turning Expertise into Profit launched March 16th, 2017. As she says "Badass Brands w/out the BS. We work with service based business owners in intensive Brandup sessions and execute the strategy and build out your entire brand-- positioning, messaging, logo, copy, website, materials-- in 1-3 days so you can get back to work. Because who has 6 months to redo their website anyway? For solopreneurs who need the whole shabang but don't have $50k to invest yet, we built a Brandup Bootcamp to take you through our exact process at a fraction of the cost. Now that is the official stuff about todays guest, but the real story isn't about where she is now rocking and rolling and loving life. The real story was the climb into stress, financial difficulties and the realisation that scale, and premium products were the key to her future. Being able to charge premium prices to less people has been the gamechanger to her and her partners day to day running of their company whilst making her business as lean as possible. Now she is gaining more and more exposure, loving life, and as you will read in her book (as we will discuss in today's show) she is shining the way for others to learn from her mistakes and live a life on their own terms by following her practical sensible advice. So does she see others making the same mistakes as she did, and smack her head with a "Doh!" and think "Man its so obvious that just cant see it?" And where does she find the motivation to keep growing, when things are already pretty good as they are? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Pia Silva. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Pia Silva such as: How she has built an amazing business that is lead by her lifestyle. If she wants to close up shop she does, with no clients wanting access to her. That is very unique and powerful. Why she believes that most businesses would be in a better position by turning people away as clients instead of jumping into bed with them. Pia explains why most people make a mess of their branding by confusing the message that they are sending out to the world. and lastly…. Pia shares the dark times in her life when she was heavily in debt and now looks as it just a phase that she had to go through to get where she is today.

Rank #1: 60: How to Become Financially Free with Tony Robbins.
Tony Robbins talks fast. Conversing with him is like riding Space Mountain: You get in, you hang on, and before you know it, it’s over and you’re left feeling bewildered, slightly euphoric, and wanting to smooth your hair. Robbins has become a household name as the man who popularized life coaching. Imagine your client list including Oprah, Princess Diana, and Bill Clinton—all before you hit your mid- 30s. He’s spoken to more than 50 million people in 100 countries. To call Tony Robbins just a self-help guru would be like calling Muhammad Ali just a boxer. It doesn’t quite cut it. He is a force of nature, an industry, and a global brand. His advice is still sought by the likes of professional athletes, CEOs, movie stars, rappers and world leaders. When Foundr interrupted Robbins’ schedule for an interview, he was 40 miles from the Arctic Circle, racing Lamborghinis across a frozen ice lake. As you do. “I was eaten up by my crazy schedule, going to 15 countries a year, so I decided, ‘I’m going to find a little time to play,’ and this was on my list. So it’s nice to be able to experience it.” It’s a fitting vacation. Robbins is best known for his high-intensity seminars. To say he’s bursting with enthusiasm is an understatement. It seems as though he’s sitting atop an erupting volcano of energy and optimism. His voice is booming, with its trademark rasp. He makes each point with the force of an artillery bombardment. In this interview you will learn: How to deduce your market to the metrics that matter The steps you need to take in order to be financially free Turning past pain into pure motivation and a hunger for success Tony's ethos in living for impact, and how the money will follow How to serve your client in the best possible way & more more!

Rank #1: 570 | An inside look at a success mindset..
Every couple of days I jump into the Freedom Club exclusive, private mastermind group. It's extremely expiring to see what club members are up to.I love seeing the success mindset growing as members help each other, share breakthroughs, and just spend time with other future freedom business owners. Here's a winner doing what it takes to succeed:"Today I escaped the 9 - 5. I just left the office of a job I was unhappy in for the last time. I've recently taken the opportunity to take a job (that I enjoy) that will earn me the same income in 16hrs a week instead of 40 and those extra hours are going straight into my Freedom Business. It's not THE step, but it's A step and I'm celebrating! Thank you all for your help getting to this milestone, even if at this point it's just from a physiological perspective."~Tim---I love seeing Tim doing what it takes to deserve the success that he's building. Just seeing the world in a different way can make stuff like this possible. The thought, how can I magically make more time for myself?Adding 24 hours a week to his freedom business building efforts is certainly one of those ways.Inside the Freedom Club we talk all about the many aspects of freedom. Most people only focus on one aspect: Financial Freedom. In the first course we talk about many of the aspects of freedom so you can figure out your ideal lifestyle. One side effect of knowing all the types of freedom is thinking differently, so you don't fall into all the failure traps that I did.Tim figured out a way to use the Freedom of Time to make more time for him to build his business that will ultimately lead to all aspects of freedom.Congrats for starting to break free from the Time Trap!I commented on Tim's break though, telling him how I fell directly in the Time Trap for over a year, when I started.Sadly, I didn't have an entire course teaching me the Freedom Formula, like the Freedom Club does, but that is another point of investing in the club. To become aware of the traps and skip them altogether!Tim is on his way.You can be on your way too, right now by joining the FC at http://www.FreedomClubVIP.comJeremy FrandsenWorld Leader in Freedom Business Education
Rank #2: 567 | Is this your excuse?.
Not long ago I asked what was in the way of you joining the Freedom Club and here is just one of the answers I received. This one is a general excuse about time. Here are a couple replies, then I'll comment after each one."Too much to do! Every time I do one thing I, I need to do 5 other things to figure out how to do the first thing right..."~Sarah--Look, saying you're too business isn't a time problem, it's a priority problem. What you're really saying is that you've not made making a freedom business a priority yet. When I got started I had a mortgage, 12 hour days at work including drive time, a wife and 2 young kids, and two dogs.I understand the excuse, but during that time I also watched a lot of movies and TV shows and even somehow had time to play some video games.I had no time, until I made escaping the rat race the highest priority I could. With that in mind, the Freedom Club is designed to get through with just 30 minutes a day. If that's too much for you in the start, just do 15 minutes a day.Change your priorities to change your life."Hah, honestly it seems like it's just laziness! I keep coming up with excuses for why I'm "too busy" to do anything etc. etc., when in reality I'M NOT THAT BUSY!! Got any advice for not being lazy/making excuses??Thanks!James"--I really like that the second person was at least honest about it!My answer to you is simply to start. 1- Sign up for the Freedom club, it only takes a couple minutes. 2- Go inside and open the first course, the Freedom Formula. 3- The first thing to do is listen to an audio. Put a timer on and do 5 minutes, that's it. 4- Then you can go back to being lazy.Put an alarm on your phone and set it for the same time tomorrow. When the alarm goes off, do 5 more minutes. It'll be easy to do it this way as the Freedom Club is step by step. You don't have to waste time trying to figure out what comes next, just go to the next item.Laziness is overcome by taking small, easy steps. Stop looking at the big picture, which just overwhelms most people. Just see what the step is in front of you and take JUST that step.In a few days you'll be so excited about the journey you have started you won't be able to stop even if you wanted to.You've got this, just take step #1 right now here:http://www.FreedomClubVIP.comJeremy FrandsenWorld Leader in Freedom Business EducationP.S. Here's a reply I got that I really love to see:"Hey Jeremy!I signed up, thanks for the kick in the pants.Stathis"--I got quite a few of these, too. Smart dude, welcome to the club!
