Lightens your load

Listening to the research about how the brain acquired language lightens me load! I stopped having students “repeat after me” the second I heard it does nothing for acquisition. The boot strap episode is one of my favorites because it explained a lot to me.

Painful

This Could be a helpful pod cast IF they would just get to the point earlier. The first 15 -20 minutes are a waste of time. Seeing as one cannot fast-forward a podcast, you are held prisoner with meaningless chatter that seems to be aimed at setting a jovial tone, but if you are a teacher, you don't have time for 20 minutes of tone setting. Painful.
