Stephen Travers is one of the world’s most experienced Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioners & Trainers.
He has over 15 years’ experience in treating people with anxiety based orders arising from traumatic stress. He has been featured on mainstream television and in national newspapers about his work using Havening.

Sincere thanks to Stephen Travers who, in the video below proves beyond any reasonable doubt that he "Walks the Walk" and does not just "Talk the Talk" like so many sadly do in this industry of Mind Therapy..

I truly did put him on the spot and asked him all of the most Awkward Questions I could think of in order to play "Devils Advocate" and to ensure the questions many at home may have in their minds about HAVENING both got asked and also got answered...

A TRUE PROFESSIONAL who clearly knows his subject inside out, has a true passion for what he does and is 100% Congruent in his Beliefs & Actions in all ways.

Enjoy what is a truly insightful and thought provoking interview, one that I sincerely thank Stephen for agreeing to participate in.

If only more people in the Industry has the "Real Balls" and true "conviction" to stand by what they do even when questioned by someone (like me) who often has their tongue firmly in their cheek.

Stephen Travers is an inspiring figure who was one of two survivors of the Miami Showband Massacre. The story of the bombing of his band was recently featured in the Netflix series “ReMastered”. Today Stephen is a passionate voice for reconciliation and also for the truth about historic injustices to be made known. The Miami Showband were one of the biggest of Ireland’s showbands in the mid 70’s. They regularly attracted crowds into the thousands. On 31st July 1975 the infamous Glenanne Gang gunned down three of the band’s members after a bomb the gang was attempting to plant on the band’s bus exploded prematurely. Stephen founded the Truth and Reconciliation Platform (TARP) with Eugene Reavey who is featured in our Guardians Of The Flame documentary.

The Miami Showband Massacre: Interview with Stephen Travers

IN this special bonus episode, Podaganda's Steve Sweeney speaks with Stephen Travers: musician, campaigner and survivor of the Miami Showband massacre.

In July 1975, one of the most notorious events of The Troubles took place in County Down in the north of Ireland.

Three members of one of the most popular bands at the time, the Miami Showband, were shot dead by Loyalist paramilitaries at what appeared to be a British Army checkpoint.

Sweeney spoke to bass player and survivor Stephen Travers, who has pursued a 40-year quest for justice amid a cover-up and the alleged involvement of the British state.

Stephen Travers #TheMiamiShowband Ep. 135

For younger generations the border in Ireland is a shadow of history. But for those with lived experience, like our guest in the #tortoiseshack, survivor and victim, Stephen Travers, the border, though long gone, will never be forgotten. Stephen was a young man in 1975, living his dream. ‘The Miami’ regularly filled music halls and ballrooms North and South of the border. On the night of the 31st of July 1975, Stephen and his band-mates were gunned down on a lonely road by hard people intent on keeping their border ‘Hard’.

The Miami Showband Massacre the ended lives and dreams of the people who were on that road that night. But it also stopped the dance for a generation who just wanted to forget the ‘Troubles’ and be normal young people enjoying a night out. This is Stephen’s story, this is all of our story, this is where we’ve been and where we can never go back to again.
