Jacob McGinness (@theplantpotential) is a plant-based dietitian who seemingly likes to cut through the bullshit of both the plant and non-plant based community, by providing a balanced perspective without of course being vulnerable to the critique of 'but you're not vegan', as he is indeed one. ⁠ ⁠ Just like any nutrition & health-related documentary, there is a huge amount of hype, debunking, ranting and arguing around the accuracy and validity of these entertainment-focused motion pictures. Since The Game Changers was recently released there has been plenty of this including many response articles from legitimate high-level nutrition professionals and researchers. ⁠ ⁠ The thing is, (as far as I've personally seen) none of these 'response articles' have been written by a "legitimate high-level nutrition professional and/or researcher" whos actually vegan/vegetarian themselves. That's not to say the aforementioned group of people are against a vegan or vegetarian diet, it's merely saying none of them are personally vegan/vegetarian. (as far as I'm aware)⁠ ⁠ As a result, I wanted to see if any of the perceived interpretations of these 'response articles' would maybe shift if it was coming from a "legitimate high-level nutrition professional" who is actually a vegan. ⁠ ⁠ In Episode 50 of the Macabolic Podcast Jacob, provides his thoughts, and insights, on The Game Changers. ⁠
