Creating More Freedom with Million Dollar Systems featuring Kate Erickson

Millionaire Girls Club Podcast

When you’re building your empire, there are just a shit ton of things to do. Task after task, day after day, month after month...the list goes on. It can be hella overwhelming. But that’s why you’ve got to have solid systems in place. And I know what you might be thinking… you're creative and love flexibility, so you need to run your business from that space (same, my friend...SAME). But know how you create that freedom?  Systems. You know as well as I do you can’t grow your business flying by the seat of your pants — at least not to the level you really want. But when you can take a look at everything it takes to run your business and implement effective systems that streamline those processes, it frees you (and your brain space) up for bigger and better things. No one knows that better than one of my best gals, Kate Erickson. Kate went from a former triathlete to an in-demand speaker. She is the Creator, Engager & Implementer at Entrepreneurs on Fire and co-creator of The Podcast Journal, The Freedom Journal, and The Mastery Journal. Kate is a genius when it comes to putting systems into place that totally change the game when it comes to running your business. Kate joined me on this episode of Millionaire Girls Club to share how you can put effective systems in every area of your business in five easy steps with zero overwhelm. Ready to stop spinning your wheels and give yourself the gift of freedom in your business (and life)? Tune in and turn it up because you do not want to miss the gems that Kate is throwing down. IN THIS EPISODE WE JAM ON:  → Where most entrepreneurs get held up with implementing systems in their businesses → How there are systems that work for everyone (even those of us who are uber creative) → Sometimes the best way to have everything in place is to start with the end in mind SKIP TO THE BEST PARTS:  CONNECT WITH KATE: Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/katelerickson/?hl=en Entrepreneurs on Fire ://www.eofire.com/ CONNECT WITH JILL: Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/themillionairegirlsclub Work 1:1 with Jill → https://screwtheninetofive.typeform.com/to/ZTLgIxWC JILL’S ASK:  Have a story about how you have tried to navigate this side of things in your business and want to share it? Snap a pic of this episode and tag us @millionairegirlsclub and @katelerickson. We’d love to hear it!  Thanks for tuning in  — catch you next time! Podcast Email Subject: How to create more freedom through systems How to create more freedom in your businessCreating more freedom in your businessMillion dollar systems create true freedom Creating freedom through million dollar systems Million dollar systems with Kate Erickson Email: Know what used to send shivers up my spine, FNAME? The idea of putting systems into place in my business. If you’re like, “OMG, Jill...I can’t work like that either!” then have I got something for you. And trust me, I totally get what that feels like because I’ve been there. As entrepreneurs, we love the idea of building something that feels good, flexible and free. It’s a big part of why we started on this path. So the idea of putting systems into place can feel restrictive and boring and just so freakin’ corporate. But here’s the thing… what if those systems are actually something that creates even more freedom in your business (and your life)? I know it sounds crazy, but stick with me a sec. Think about how much you do in your business — you’ve got daily, weekly, monthly, and even quarterly tasks. If you don’t have a system in place, it can be so stressful, worrying that things will be missed or balls will be dropped. But when you have a system in place for everything you do, it helps when... You need to delegate tasks to your people (which can be hella-hard) It’s time to train a new hire for your team That team member (you rely on so much!) moves on to a new adventure You need the mental white space to be creative And that’s why you’ve got to kick your preconceived notions to the curb and tune into my amazing conversation with my good friend Kate Erickson.  Kate is the Creator, Engager & Implementer at Entrepreneurs on Fire and co-creator of The Podcast Journal, The Freedom Journal, and The Mastery Journal. She’s a pure genius when it comes to putting systems into place that totally change the game when it comes to running your business. Want to hear how Kate can help you put amazing systems in place in your business in just five easy steps (with zero overwhelm)? Well, you’re going to have to tune in to this episode of Millionaire Girls Club to get the goods. Bottom line, FNAME: if you aren’t using systems to streamline what you’re doing in your business, you are missing out. It’s the key to creating more time, brain space, and freedom in your business and life. And who doesn’t want that? ;) Jill

Productivity for Entrepreneurs with Kate Erickson | Ep. 155

Brands On Brands | Personal Branding & Podcasting

Today we talk about productivity for entrepreneurs and how to find more efficiency within your business. My guest today is Kate Erickson. She is the host of the podcast Ditch Busy and co-author of The Podcast Journal: Idea to Launch in 50 Days. Her goal is to help entrepreneurs ditch busy and achieve financial and lifestyle freedom. This podcast will inspire, encourage, and teach you how to start embracing time management in a way that makes you feel free. HIGHLIGHTS: Understand what it means to be productive, not busy Learn how to "take inventory" of your tasks Find out what commitments are important to you Start focusing on tasks you love QUOTES: "If you think about it from an ROI perspective, (return on investment) think of the investment as your time. Usually, people talk about ROI in terms of, “Okay, I spent this much money. How much should I get back?” "Taking inventory is just having a sheet of paper or online note-taking system and recording every single thing that you work on, that you spend your time on in a given week."  "As entrepreneurs, as brand creators, we're constantly coming up with ideas. We might think, oh, that sounds awesome. Brain dump it, put it on a list. You won't forget it."
