Upon leaving Theatre School he returned to his native North East to work with ‘Boyle Yer Stott’s Productions’. With Boyle Yer Stotts, Wayne performed in many of their critically acclaimed productions for over a decade. While working as an actor in a variety of stage & TV work, he also added writing & directing to his list of credits, many of them as an in house writer and director of children's theatre at The Customs House in South Shields. This is something that he carried over into his own company ‘Walton-Gunn Productions’, a home town based theatre company, that produces multiple pantomime & children’s productions every year, alongside new writing projects.
