She has been named one of the 20 most inspirational entrepreneurs in the UK by the Sunday Times and one of the most inspirational women in the UK.

Shaa shares with us her story and her determination to break the social status quo and passion for business which saw her be the only female boxing promoter at the time, and securing James Dyson as het first client in her PR company.

It's an inspirational and humbling chat, hearing about Shaa’s upbringing and her determination to succeed despite the roadblocks she faced and her dedication to championing and supporting fellow entrepreneurs.

Shaa Wasmund MBE joins me for this week's epic interview episode. Having started her path as the only licensed female boxing promoter in the world at the time when she worked with the legendary Super Middle Weight Champion Chris Eubank, Shaa went on to found her own PR firm which managed the launch of Dyson vacuum cleaners. In a move to digital business in 1997 she became a founding director of the travel website Deckchair. She then went on to launch lifestyle website "My Kinda Place" in 2000, ands even years later, the site was sold to BSkyB.In 2007, Shaa established Bright Station Ventures, an investment vehicle with $100million of capital. In January 2009 Shaa launched Smarta, a site dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners.
