James Lopez

The Toby Gribben Show Highlights

James Lopez is an author, educator, and a U.S. Army veteran whose personal experiences during the war in Iraq combined with his love of history and adventure were the inspiration for writing his first novel, Deus Vult, A Tale of the First Crusade. The tale is about one man’s search for truth and the struggles he faces which ultimately test his faith in God.Trust and faith in God are two values that James believes have gotten him through some of the most difficult times in his life. When he’s not working or writing, James loves to scuba dive and travel to foreign countries to experience new cultures and learn about their history. One of his goals is to someday visit Jerusalem and the Holy Land and walk in those places that for now, exist only in his vivid imagination. Hosted on Acast. Episode 47 -- James Lopez Came From the Worst

Dad 2.0 Podcast

James Lopez has built Fatherhood Is Lit on several tenets he tries to live up to every day: Be different, be proud, have fun, and don't settle. And when it comes to working with brands, be unorthodox. He'd rather invest his time in father/child events that have a far more lasting impact than an ephemeral post on social media. James wasn't always comfortable being called an influencer or a stay-at-home dad, until he decided both terms are open to wide interpretation. And he's eager to talk about his complex childhood in the South Bronx, how his Master's degree in computer science informs his entrepreneurship, and why blackjack is excellent for teaching your kid math.
