Having survived a string bad events, Robert went to Alaska to work as a deep sea fisherman, and eventually made his way to Europe. He shared his amazing journey from incarceration to a life on the road. Brian talks with his old teacher about his work and his storied past. From his experiences making art in NYC, Oakland and Texas, to his run-ins with Andy Warhol, Sun Ra, Cecil Taylor and other legends to his many interests in making art to making music to his interest in films, they cover a lot of ground. Yarber started showing in the 80's with Sonnabend and was in many shows from solo exhibits in galleries to the Whitney Biennial.
