Its Time To Smile Show - Eddie Cantor -With Guest, Phil Harris Jan. 15, 1940 - Comedy-Variety

Heirloom Radio

Eddied Cantor had a 20 year career on radio, and for a good reason... he was an extremely talented performer. He was a comedian, a singer, an actor and knew how to connect with his audiences. They loved him. I am going to begin an Eddie Cantor Playlist as there are many programs of exceptionally good quality sound that are crying out to be heard! The guest on this show is Jack Benny's band leader, Phil Harris... who was quite a talent himself. He and Eddie have a couple of routines where the get to show off their wits and comedic timing. This is the premier for Eddie Cantor on Heirloom Radio... a different oldies program!
