Ep 061: How to take the positives out of the pandemic, especially at work, with HR trailblazer Sarah Morris
Big Juicy Creative
Sarah Morris is an HR trailblazer with a 'no mission is impossible' mindset... That's why I thought I'd get her on the podcast and ask her what we can do, coming out of the global pandemic, to be in the best position to thrive at work in future. What I love about this conversation is how she's determined to take the positives from the pandemic. And that requires, first of all, that you are self-aware and you reflect on your experiences. She takes full responsibility for her experiences - as an employee, colleague, leader, wife, mother -and implores us to do the same. She's Group Chief People Officer at Compass Group, she’s a committee member of the 30% club, which aims to get more women on FTSE 100 boards, and she’s part of the Women’s Network Forum whose goal is advancing gender balance and equality. Fair to say, she's going to have her work cut out on the gender equality front, now, due to Covid. For more on Sarah: @30percentclub LinkedIn twitter @sarahmorris2015

#88 - Sarah Morris | Seabass Solutions #1 and does Congress have too much responsibility?
The Seabass Show
If you have questions or need some life advice, send us a message on social media, and Sarah and I will do our best to give you a solution. I misspoke while recording this; the House presently has 435 Representatives. Are we giving Congress too much responsibility? Managing a budget for seemingly millions of issues, topics, and departments seems more and more absurd to me. What are your thoughts?
