She also played Lucretia Colder on USA’s Briarpatch. She talks about her audition process for Hello Ladies, including reading for one of the best casting directors in the business, Allison Jones. She talks about the nerve-wracking process of booking a TV pilot - she's booked a whopping thirteen pilots in her busy career. And she talks honestly about the pressures she’s encountered while navigating the business, including her experiences being an actor with a film at Sundance. Followed by a second interview with actor and comedian Royce Johnson (The Pack Theater). Royce is one of the sharpest culture critics around. He currently plays on a house team at the beloved upstart punk rock comedy school, The Pack Theater, in Los Angeles. He talks about the differences between some of the notable comedy schools. CHRISTINE WOODS, from HBO's "Hello Ladies" and AMC's "Walking Dead," is our special guest this Sunday night! CHRISTINE is best known for her wide-ranging work on television. She was recently on the HBO series and television movie "Hello Ladies" starring opposite Stephen Merchant. She was featured in this season of AMC's "The Walking Dead" as well as NBC's "About a Boy," which co-starred David Walton and Minnie Driver. Previously, CHRISTINE recurred opposite Matthew Perry on NBC's "Go On" and was a regular on NBC's "Perfect Couples" and ABC's "Flash Forward." Other television credits include "The Odd Couple," "Bad Teacher," "The Closer," "House M.D," "NCIS," "Cold Case," "Necessary Roughness," "Castle" and "In Plain Sight." She is now staring in the IAMA Theatre Company's production of the new play, "Sinner's Laundry." The residents of Newport Women's Correctional Facility have all mysteriously vanished. Only two inmates remain - and they are locked in Rec Room No. 4 with nothing but some crappy board games and their imaginations. "Waiting for Godot" meets "Orange is the New Black" meets "The Book of Revelations" as they navigate their way towards salvation in this unique, funny and poignant exploration of the power of redemption and the divinity within us all.
