Video Journalism in the Age of Covid-19 with Tom Lopez

Not a Big Podcast

Tom Lopez is a video journalist with a local news station here in the Santa Cruz area. He's spent almost 20 years in this field and we discuss local news, how stories are chosen, journalistic ethics, and more. We also touch a bit on the coronavirus as this is the first recording I've done since the shelter in place order. We also talk a bit about music, cars and more. We recorded it online remotely, and I think the quality is pretty good given that it was our first online only cast. Good Times!  Hope you enjoy. more information can be found at www.notabigpodcast.com
