Under Chynoweth's reign, the Kootenay ICE went on a 17-year stretch where they never missed the playoffs. He's helped develop countless players and coaches and has watched keenly as they've found success at the next level.The "Chynoweth" name is synonymous with success in junior hockey, and in this conversation, Jeff touches on the legacy of his late father Ed, the factors for his successes in junior hockey, and some funny/heartfelt stories that he's lived along the way. Jeff is the current GM of the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL. His father Ed is a hockey icon who oversaw the modernization of what was Major Junior Hockey to the CHL. Jeff has done it all in junior hockey, including owning a team in Cranbrook. Jeff returned home 3 seasons ago to lead the Hitmen.
