Multiplex Loves Movies #54: DC Owns Weekend, Olivia Wilde Headed to Marvel, & More!
On this week's episode of Roll The Credits Ryan and Tina take a look into Olivia Wilde's performances. The movie choices bring up conversation around grief and the mechanisms they use to cope with difficult times and unimaginable loss. They also discuss what is the driving force and motivation behind getting up and pushing forward in the darkest of times. A very real and deep look into Ryan and Tina's coping strategies as they open up like they haven't before on RTC. Plus, a very exciting announcement of another actress joining the show. You don't want to miss it!
Ok, we made it to the end! Here are our two last movies that were directed by actors!
First, we take on A QUIET PLACE. Originally, this was going to time out for when the sequel came out, but yknow, the world is on fire, so STAY HOME! Andrew and I have a disagreement, one of us hates pregnancy and the other one has empathy. Who knew?
Then we move on to the critical darling BOOKSMART. If you are online at all, you have been likely told to watch it already. And we join that chorus, even if it is a female SUPERBAD ;)

You might know Olivia Wilde from her performances in the OC, House, Bojack Horseman and SXSW world premieres such as Drinking Buddies, and Vigilante. We were astounded by her brilliant and funny directorial debut Booksmart, which world premiered at SXSW on her 35th birthday, and went on to wow critics and audiences alike, signaling a great new voice in filmmaking.
We were honored to host her SXSW 2019 Film Keynote, an inspiring talk that asks a whole new generation of female filmmakers, “What is the film only I can make?”
