This week on Tilt Radio we're diving into the youth state tournament and the face-off position. To start we are joined by Ohio Middle School Director Glen Garvin to go through the seeding process, under dogs, and the road to Columbus. On the second half of our show we're sitting down with "The Beast" himself Greg Gurenlian. We'll discuss his roots, Face-Off Academy, USA lax, potential rule changes for face-offs, and so much more.
#131 – Anthony & Josh are joined by former lacrosse pro and founder of The Face-Off Academy, Greg Gurenlian. Greg shares how he got his start in lacrosse at a young age, the story of him almost quitting after his first year of playing in high school, where his passion for coaching came from, and his experience getting drafted to play lacrosse professionally, which led to becoming a sought-after lacrosse coach teaching players about the mechanics of face-offs. Later, Greg shares the importance of taking days off in between training and why a desire to learn is one of the most important things you need in order to achieve continued success.
