A deep dive with Aaron Saidman on Documentary films!
This weeks guest is a cracker, I have Aaron Saidman. He is is an American creator-developer, documentary filmmaker and television producer. He is known for a number of non-fiction television series and documentary feature films. You would have seen a fair chunk of his work over the years, l very much remembered his work on the Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath series, which was brilliant. A fair few of you would know Saidman for his work on The Paris Hilton Documentary which made a lot of noise in the media last year. This chat was arranged by Binge and HBO Max to support Selena + Chef which is a new cooking show on their network which has just launched series 2. It is a really fun show with Selena Gomez as the host and for you fellow Australian Curtis Stone is on episode one and he is really awesome on that episode. Learn more about your ad choices. Scientology And The Aftermath - Devon Graham Hammonds & Aaron Saidman
Exec/Producer With Noah Pollack
LEAH REMINI: SCIENTOLOGY AND THE AFTERMATH kicks off season 2 of EXEC/PRODUCER. This remarkable series showcases actress and former Scientologist, Leah Remini, in her journey to meet with other former members of the church and bring light to their heartbreaking stories. It has been no small feat for producer, Aaron Saidman and A&E executive, Devon Graham Hammonds, to successfully produce this series given all of its legal and procedural challenges, but they've not only walked the tightrope, but also were also rewarded with an Emmy. Devon and Aaron are both excellent at what they do and their mutual respect and appreciation for one another is something to behold. Enjoy!
This week on the podcast… PART 2 of my fantastic conversation with uber producers Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman. You’ll hear all about their new company IPC and their thoughts about the current state of TV and where it’s headed. If you’re a producer with your own company or thinking of striking out on your own - you won’t want to miss their insights on how to build a company in 2016. Enjoy!!!
Whether you’re in “the biz” or not, you’ll definitely want to tune in to Part 1 of my talk with uber producers Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman. Known for hits like Undercover Boss and Project Runway they've got fascinating backgrounds working in film and TV and have some priceless Harvey Weinstein stories. We also talk about their phenomenal documentary called The Seven Five (run don’t walk). Hope you love the conversation as much as I did!
