In the 1990s, women began disappearing and dying in the communities surrounding Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Because most of the victims were Caucasian, authorities followed leads involving a Caucasian man in a white pick-up truck. Eventually, DNA from various victims linked the women to a potential serial killer. Later genetic testing revealed that the perpetrator was African-American.
