Harmonious World #46 Joe Lovano

Harmonious World

Another of my heroes allowed me to interview him. This time it's sax player Joe Lovano.Joe tells tales about playing in London, with some true legends of the international jazz world. We could have gone on for hours and there's a false ending, followed by more insights into his new album - Garden of Expression  - which features pianist Marilyn Crispell and Carmen Castaldi on drums. No bass player. It's a beautiful sound and the track West of the Moon  which closes this podcast is ethereal and spellbinding. Many thanks to Joe for allowing me to feature clips from Garden of Expression  alongside our conversation. To find out more about Joe, click here.Follow me on instagram.com/hilaryrwriterFollow me on facebook.com/HilaryRobertsonFreelanceWriterFollow me on twitter.com/hilaryrwriterSupport the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/HWpodcast)

It's very impressive and that it why I suggest that you check out the Youtube interview, we chatted for 1 1/2 and must of it make it to tape.
