Ben Phillips was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio with nothing, his mother used to work a lot, also she divorced and because of that, he started in the drugs business when he was a little boy and also consumed it for 15 years. To change the addiction he was involved in, he decide to move to another state and have a brand new environment. His partner helped with drugs and finally could find a light at the end of the tunnel. Then he wants to recover his life and try some different things like having 8 jobs until he found Real Estate starting by flipping houses. Now he runs a fantastic operation wholesaling properties and doing some fix and flip with a really hardworking team, also making PPC, cold calling, SEO & TV Commercial. He has nearly 20 years of experience as an economic and social researcher in Australia. Prior to joining the ANU Ben was responsible for a range of modelling projects at NATSEM including the STINMOD microsimulation model of Australia’s tax and transfer system. Ben managed several key projects including the distributional analysis of the Australian Government’s 2014-15 and 2015-16 Budgets.Prior to joining the ANU Ben twice worked at NATSEM and has also had roles at the Australian Bureau of Statistics as a methodologist and economist, The Housing Industry Association as a senior economist and the Bureau of Tourism Research as an economic forecaster. He has lived and worked in four continents and a dozen cities.
