The Road to Extraordinary: How to Turn Up Your Entrepreneurship By Turning Up Your Empathy w/Brandon Steiner
Real Estate Money School
Value is what we can do for someone that they can’t do for themselves. Entrepreneurs are driven by serving people and solving problems, but how can we create something of value for others when we’re wrapped up in ourselves? How can we be impactful without empathy? People are living in their own motion pictures with very little room for other people in the screenplay. A lack of empathy isn’t just a crisis in our humanity, it’s a crisis in entrepreneurship. How do we tap into and turn up our empathy? Why do we have to go beyond inspiration and motivation and actually get into action? In this episode, I’m super honored to be joined by legendary sports marketer, entrepreneur, author and CEO of The Steiner Agency, Athlete Direct and CollectibleXchange, Brandon Steiner. He shares his incredible insights on success in entrepreneurship, and why it’s impossible without empathy. Three Things You’ll Learn In This Episode The power of empathy We can’t be of value and solve problems without stepping into someone else’s shoes. How do you turn up your empathy and compassion? Ben Steiner’s formula for an extraordinary life The past and disappointment are kryptonite. How do we put action over anxiety, and kick fear out of the way with faith? How to have Brandon Steiner’s “perpetual high level of non-acceptance” You have to get a bit hostile to get what you want, nothing happens when you’re cool and chilled. Why do we go further when we’re ferociously driven to get what we want? In today's episode, we have Brandon Steiner with us today to share his knowledge on pivoting during these challenging times and share his experiences and insights with us to have us catch up and not left out. [9:01] What are the Aww Shift horrible moments. There are so many, the most important thing to go through everything is becoming to be teachable. In every situation you get into, you must be ready to adapt and learn. You got to start to differentiate yourself. Be a solutions-based person. [14:53] How did you get this to people's hearts and mind? Show them the truth, show people that you. Tell people what to do and show them that you are willing to go out of your way. [20:04] Opportunities in 2021 There are a lot of opportunities in 2021, but it is not going to be easy. You don't need a virus to pivot you and create a new normal. You should be doing that every day for your business. You should be trained and disciplined to think out of the box and pivot and think about different options and plan B's. [27:19] What promise did God make to the world when He created you? I'm putting you down here to figure out how you can help as many people as possible. I won't screw up and only help yourself and fill your own pockets. But help people that are left out to help people that are struggling. And by the way, if you can figure out how to have some fun while you're doing it. Keynotes [9:30-9:39] I think it's just so important to be a learner and be teachable. [17:49-18:01] "That's the real key to big overnight, great success is doing good. Put as much good as you can, even if sometimes you're not getting anything back." Listen to more Aww Shift Podcast. What Else?: Setting Your Sights Beyond Success With Brandon Steiner | Ep. 12
Business Done Differently with Jesse Cole
The best people in any business look beyond success and constantly strive to do something bigger and better. Sports marketing guru Brandon Steiner lives by this principle every day. You would think that someone who has built a brand as iconic as Steiner Sports and bought the Yankee Stadium at one point in their lives is living at the pinnacle of achievement, but Brandon refuses to settle for success. To him, being in capacity is a sure road to mediocrity and what distinguishes us, humans from the rest of the animal kingdom is our ability to take everything we do best of and try to do better. Through his books, podcast and speaking engagements, Brandon endeavors to inspire leaders and entrepreneurs to stop wallowing in their past successes and ask themselves, “What else?” Pick up some lessons, encouragement and other Steinerisms that you can take in your own journey to greatness as Brandon speaks with Jesse Cole in this episode of all episodes.Love the show?
