Marga Hoek is directeur van De Groene Zaak, een platform voor duurzame ondernemers. Minister van duurzaamheid wil ze niet worden. “Het veranderen van de wereld is een economische zaak.”We zitten nog in de oude economie, De Groene Zaak wil daar verandering in brengen met duurzame koplopers uit het bedrijfsleven. “Op termijn is er maar één businessmodel winstgevend en dat is een duurzame.”Daarmee kun je volgens hoek je continuïteit en winstgevendheid van je bedrijf te garanderen. “We halen de economie van morgen naar vandaag.”Zakendoen in de nieuwe economie vergt een nieuw business model, schrijft Hoek in haar nieuwe boek.”Het woord duurzaam komt er niet in voor.”  Supply-chainDe supply chain aanpassen is het eerste dat een bedrijf moet doen. “Er zijn teveel partijen die een stukje van de taart willen. Toeleveranciers moeten meer en efficiënter gaan samenwerken.”De definitie van de economie is voor Hoek te klein, er is teveel losgelaten. “We hebben de grond losgelaten tussen waarde en geld”, zegt ze. “Ecologie moet terug in de definitie.”De overheid stimuleert de oude economie nog teveel. “De pijlen staan bijvoorbeeld teveel op zaken als fossiele brandstoffen.”BewegingKrijgen we de oude rotten in beweging om te veranderen? “Grootschalig moet naar decentraal en kleinschalig, dat is lastig. Die ondernemers moeten afkijken bij anderen die al verder zijn.”Premier Rutte neemt te weinig leiderschap in de langetermijnvisie, vindt Hoek. Daarom laat de omslag op zich wachten. “We moeten stemmen op partijen die ons daadwerkelijk verder brengen.”En we moeten niet bang zijn om zekerheden op te geven. “Innovatie gebeurt niet achter gesloten deuren.”
